Jittery in defence but 3 points and a clean sheet is all that matters at this time. Killie are Butchers with their Full Body tackles. but we survived - Tuesday will be decided on whether we get an early goal or not imo . Jury still out on Mac in goal for me. but Gio knows best. If we go out on Tuesday its not the end of the season but just the start and will give us time to blend until the GS of Europa League. i'm ok with that as PSV may be a bridge too far so early in the season. Killie weren't great and nether were we. There's obviously room for improvement. However we have stepped up a little in the right direction. Great to see Colak and Buff on the score sheet. 2 games, max points.

Glad for the 3 posts but yeah defence is jittery. My main criticism is the passing is not very good. We seem to be giving the ball away too much. Do this against better opposition and we will get punished. We also aren’t moving the ball about as quickly as we can. Maybe it’s just players aren’t up to speed yet? Time will tell.

EHL, if we go out on Tuesday we are straight into the Europa League group stage, no further qualifiers. I also think it’s been stated that if we do end up in the Europa League we will be 1st seeds in the group stage. However let’s hope we can pull it together on Tuesday and get through!

Ibrox, regarding players up to speed. That shouldn't be an excuse that's what pre season is for. Those guys are professionals and should be up for it right from the off. However I do agree, I see certain players who are not 90 minutes march fit.

sorry to disagree baxter, match fitness is entirely different, and being at top levels can take weeks for some players, they’re not machines mate
i took 3 weeks of training and playing 40 years ago, some of my pals were flying after 15 minutes, others took weeks
i understand sports science is different now, but people are still people,

I agree with you Baxter it’s no excuse, Tillman for example was ready to go 1 st Half and then 2nd half by time he came off he looked exhausted. In regard to EL everyone saying we go straight into group stages is right. Roll on Tuesday and let’s see what happens?
Either way we will still be in Europe. Let’s hope the team gets better by the game. I’m sure hearing the noise at Ibrox on a European night might just put some pep in their step! ( the new players)

We went out at this stage last year and still had to play a play off, so assumed the same this year.
Anyways, let's hope we don't need to worry about it.
