Don’t if anyone will agree but even the games we struggled in last season and 2 games this season, I think the main reason we struggle is because the tempo we play at it’s too slow and with playing against a 10/ 11 man defence then they always have time to get set and that’s why we need to up our tempo. Get the ball moving fast and play a lot of one touch two touch football to break down these defences.
Obviously we need to be playing the right formation and team also. 3 CM that are too similar is not what’s needed either.

Agree storm, moving the ball quicker is a must. We seem to lack urgency and maybe hit more shots especially from outside the box. Not sure he’s the answer but Scott Wright showed more enthusiasm and drive in his short time on the park than Matondo did. I know Wright has flaws but he had a go at them and should have had more fouls, he was positive at least.

Any you guys think were a lot weaker team now and the players we've brought in are just very cheap i also wonder how many of those new players will turn out quality if any of them but 1 thing i can say is less than have will be quality also why pay that money for ben davis just to leave him on bench if he's no fit he shouldn't be on bench.

There was times during the game the other night when we had the makings of a break on? Only for us to play it back to Goldson and slip back into the sideways passing between the defence! MPH would be a good shout for this? Out of the possession we had in the game, what percentage was from our defence?

Davies will be the lcb, Yilmaz Tillman and Matondo will be very good players for us, I think we have a better squad than last season, do these boys get no time to settle in?

DSG, I reckon that in the main the players coming in are of a better quality and as far as Yilmaz is concerned, the Turkish League is a tough one and Besiktas are a quality team. I am yet to be convinced by Colak but then I don't see him as anything other than a replacement for Itten so I am hoping that we can offload Roofe and bring in a quality backup for Morelos. My biggest worry remains that we haven't brought in a quality replacement for McGregor. I simply do not rate McLaughlin and we could where that lot in the East End were a couple of Seasons ago if we are not careful. For what it is worth I still consider McGregor to be the best goalkeeper at Rangers by some distance.

Totally agree mate. Have been sick of all our play revolving around Goldson but knew when he stayed nothing would change. Wish he'd stay in def and never play 3 def mids again. We've lots of attracting options now and hopefully Morelos back so we can still do it.

Should be 2 upfront against every bottom 8 side on the spfl. We don't need 2 defensive midfielders against St Mirren and Ross County. I've said it before Gio is far to negative a coach for the spfl.

Listen Barrowlad I apologised for that at the end of the season. There's absolutely no way I'm going involved in these tit for tat things everytime someone disagrees with me. I'll say how I feel about the situation and this is it. This squad of players and management ain't good enough to win this seasons spfl. If someone disagrees with that then I'm fine with it but I'm not going keep apologising for things I said in February.

It is very early days to start thinking that we won't win the league. It will indeed be hard, but Gio now has some of his players in the squad and time will tell if he has got it right. Keep the faith.

I totally agree with you stormtrooper ? No need to play 3 defensive midfielders and way too many square/ sideway passes ? We need to play with a slicker, higher tempo and don't give teams time to set?We need attacking midfielders like tillman and lawrence who can break the lines with their very direct forward passing, that can split defences ???.

We struggled last season (and this season) when Morelos wasn't playing. I know several others have referred to what Mark Hately said: “Colak, for me, was a waste of time. If Morelos is playing there, the ball goes into him. Colak didn’t demand the ball. ”
I'm new to these pages and know a fraction of what the others do. Also, I'm measured and always open to giving these guys a chance. But, Tuesday night is do or die and if Morelos is available and plays, then we will see a different Rangers.
Personally, I don't think we will do it on Tuesday night but if Morelos plays, we might.
