I won't make excuses for last night's embarrassing performance but for all advocates of VAR let's hope the officials know the rules in the 1st place.

Agree0 Disagree0

Onewalter, I agree last night's performance was unacceptable.
Re. vAR . I posted before that the VAR would only be as good as personnel reviewing it.

I don’t want var never have never will.

Spanish John - it was the REF who made the decision - he is only told to have a look.
but it was a poor decision - - wouldn't have made any difference to be fair.

We weren’t complaining about VAR last season when it was winning us penalty’s in the EL, we also weren’t complaining when it was having goals chopped off for being offside by other teams that may otherwise have stood. VAR didn’t beat us last night. Our performance was abysmal. It is probably the worst performance in recent memory I’ve witnessed. We need to get our act together quick or we can forget about qualifying. If we play like this against them in first OF we will be in for a long gruelling season. I do agree though, it was harsh decision but not every referee always gets its right.

I think this is the worst group of players since Steven Gerrard's 1st season. We are a side in decline and going be 2nd best for a few seasons now.

to be fair ibrox i agree in the main

but, that decision wasn’t harsh, given how he studied the monitor it was scandalous, but heyho.

Yes the penalty was a bad decision but it doesn't take anything away from the fact that last night we were rotten. We could have conceded four!

Sweep my thoughts exactly, we made more money last season than ever (recent times) but have sold the Crown Jewels and gone shopping in the bargain basement huge mistake. The quality is just not there.

It was the ref that made the decision but it was the VAR team that alerted the ref to a clear and obvious error. Not quite sure how they managed to get it so wrong and the decision to book Goldson was astounding.

Agree Bar72. VAR should not even have asked REF. to look at it.
As per the rules in place. It was not a penalty. Can't see the point of VAR if they are just passing back for the REF to decide.

incredible after 2 games eh.

Bar not make a diff. 1/ 0 down is doable but 2/ 0 we've never overturned before.
