Most SPFL championship winning sides need over 90 goals too win a league; I just don't see where when goals come from with this group of players. We badly need investment and need too find players who can give us goals.

Agreed Sweep, we are actually looking really good at the back which is always a priority. If we can sign a new keeper then I think we're done unless somebody leaves. I hope Hagi and Lowry can chip in with goals from midfield as we've not had a scoring midfielder on the books for a while. We need players up top who can help take some pressure off Morelos. We just need to see where we are at the end of August. I really hope we have 2 or 3 first team improvements for the champions league play offs or we might be in trouble. Fingers crossed as getting to the group stages will be a game changer.

I do see your point though, the last thing we need is to have a situation like last year of all that hard work in getting to a European final and having no striker. Does anyone think if Dave king was still here we'd be so slow in the transfer market. The last two windows have really been a non event for us. we really need to go for it and secure champions league football, we should have plenty of cash after out euro run but are park and co willing to spend or are they just there to elevate their egos.

Agree with the OP, we should be getting around 50 goals alone from the front 3. But can’t see that happening with the current forwards, although I’m hopeful that Wright can kick on and get double figures. Kent needs to work on his shooting, it’s the final piece of the jigsaw for him.
Also hopeful that Hagi will do well in the No.10 position and get double figures - however it’s all maybes….

Paul is correct, the goals can easily be spread amongst the squad, he's not even mentioned the likes of Sakala and Wright who at SPFL level can contribute at the very least.
I do take Sweeps point though, we should be looking to add more goals, for me that was the main difference between us and Celtic last season. They were putting games to bed early and it then allows them to relax whereas we had so many games where we would get a 1 or 2 goal lead and then try see it out, a lot of the time it worked, but on a few too many occasions, it caught us out.
We will invest on the current squad, players are just returning from holidays etc so i would expect clubs will now start doing business. We need another striker, a Right Winger and a midfielder who can hit decent shots from distance, that's been a bug of mine for ages. Amount of times the ball falls to edge of the box and our midfielders just gather it up and recycle it wide, very rarely do any of them have a dig and when they do its normally poorly executed.

It wasnt scorin gosls last season that cost us the title it was the crazy goals we gave away. the 3 all game up at ross county on th3 same dat celtic got a 94th min winner at home to united. 2 nil up at half time at home to motherwell absolutey coasting only to some how throw away a 2 goal lead. there's plenty goals through out the team.

It is all about opinions, some say that McGregor cost us the league, others say our defence, or we didn't score enough goals. While all of these are contributory factors as was the timing of Gerrard's departure, I would suggest that our failure to strengthen the Team from a position of strength was a major issue.
I agree with all those that are saying that we need to strengthen this summer, otherwise we will go backwards.

However 33 conceded as opposed to 13 don’t win leagues imo.
The whole team are responsible for theses stats. Rangers teams should not be losin three goals in the league.
