I don't get the negativity towards MsGlughaulin, he's donever nothing wrong in my eyes and deserves his chance. Maybe not a Buffon or a Neuer but give the man his chance. How much to replace McGregor?

Just read that post ?. I like a keeper to command his area clatter anyone in his way, friend or foe to get the ball. McGlughlin does that and takes pressure off the defenders especially at set pieces. Deserves the chance. Imo.

Parlane, I agree 100% with you pal, he hasn't put a foot wrong when called upon, and, as you say, he commands his area. If he isn't given his chance, we'll, in my opinion, just waste more money buying another Goal Keeper, all about choices, but Allan didn't command his area, yes, he made a lot of crucial saves, but last season in particular he lost us points by not coming out and getting balls.

I think McLaughlin deserves a chance, in our invincible season he started the season for us and had a great clean sheet record.

If McLaughlin was in goal domestically we would be basking in the glory of 56, love mcgregor but domestically it was a season too far, against the jobbers we play every week we need a keeper that controls his area and quick off the line, mcgregor doesn’t and hesitates when he has to decide to come for a through ball, it causes confusion with the defence. Our defenders perform better with McLaughlin also. He’s earned the no1 spot for me with an addition fresh face to compete or Robbie if he doesn’t leave for game time.

If the no2 isn’t good enough to be no1 then he shouldn’t be no2 and likewise no3 not good enough to be 2 all in the event no1 gets injured u need to be in strong position.

Totally disagree coully and I can’t believe some fans actually believe the reason we lost the league is because of McGregor ?.

He did contribute massively to it storm. Horrific mistake last min v county away. Not coming off line late on x2 v motherwell and hearts at home. 8 points from keeper mistakes late in games, all from not commanding his area. I love mcgregor but for first time last season I thought he looked his age at times.
