We all hope that we can keep hold of the superb calvin bassey Some of our former players are saying he's our kieran tierney and worth around £20million at least, if clubs as expected, do come to sign him Fellow bears out there do we reckon that calvin bassey will go on to be better than kieran tierney or andy robertson for that matter in your totally unbiased opinions .

Andy Robertson has won every trophy available to any club player in Europe. Bassey has been brilliant the last couple of months but got a long way to go to match him lol kt has only won a fa cup since leaving Scotland so wouldn’t be hard to match him.

You sell when at highest value; imo Kamara, Aribo and Barasic were at there highest value at end of last season and now at a lower value. 20 million for Bassey along with selling Aribo would give us money to rebuild our squad.

He had potential to be a great player but it’s impossible to say if he will have a better career than Robertson who has won everything down in England.

Much as I want to see Bassey as a Rangers player for many years to come, a fee of £20m +, which is being touted by the Media would go a long way to helping GVB bring in the quality of player needed and hopefully provide the funds to allow us to secure Kent and Morelos on new contracts. The question for me is whether Gio will be given the funding and will he be allowed to bring in his own players.

if we can tie him down to another couple of years as John suggested we have tried to do, i can only see his value increasing. we have other assets we can sell short term surely to build around the likes of bassey next season.
