Would we have taken the scottish cup and losing finalists in the Europa cup before the season started? . I would have, as much as it hurts with what could have been, the exposure we now have is worth millions as players, agents and other clubs in general have a new respect for us. Exciting times coming in the qualies and if that fails then off we go again in the europa league . We will win the title in season 22/ 23 of that I am 100% confident. yesterday was a marker for better things to come and unexpected signings that wouldn't have looked at us prior to our run in europe. cheers all .

Before the Season started I was anticipating Gerrard being given support by the Board to bring in the players he wanted. If that had happened then I would have been looking for a league and Scottish Cup Double and a run in Europe.
Given how things transpired I believe that Gio has succeeded beyond my best expectations by getting us to a European Final and I believe that with better signings in January we could easily have been European and Scottish Cup double winners.
I do believe that Gio is a better tactician than Gerrard but the Board must back him significantly if he is to be the success that he can be!

The league should've been win but the warning signs were there for all to see even with the 6 point lead. Saying that the difference between the sides were celtic scored a 7th minute injury time goal up at Ross County and we lost one. That's your 4 points right there. Also the day we lost that 2-0 lead against Motherwell at Ibrox after they drew at Easter Road was the final nail in the coffin. Europa league run is excellent though and for a Scottish team to reach such heights in 2022 was brilliant.

I think this has been a massive learning curve for GIO hell know he needs to find players who can contribute more in the SFL when it comes goals also he won't be as cagey whdn we go ahead so next season should be exciting we have a coach imo who can take us on and who can clearly improve players etc Jack Lindstrum Alfie Aribo Bassey but the board have to back him.

I would have taken the league before anything at start of the season the league is the bread and butter for me it’s a disappointing season only win a cup but it was a hell of a ride.

Storm, we've made probably more than the champions league group stages will make celtic! We will enter it at the 3rd qualifying round seeded! So we most definitely still have a good chance of getting to the group stages, And let's not forget having such a good run in Europe raises our stock among footballers and raises the prices of our players that have proven they can make it at a higher level than just the spfl unlike our poor neighbours across the city! The league is of course our bread and butter! But as I've said means nothing outside of Scotland! The only reason it carries more favour this time is the automatic entry to the group stages thanks mainly to us! Would we be speaking of Bassey in the 20+ million range if we didn't have our amazing run in Europe?

I feel we blew the league, no way we should be giving up a 6 point lead with the squad we have.

I agree barrow with what you say but the league is always the most important one to win for me and that will never change.
