What a journey we have had this season.
Change of manager, injuries and no inspired signings but we were soooo close to immortality.
The heat was tough on our players who were already worn out.
Not a negative peep from me, proud of every single player and Gio played a blinder with tactics but in all honesty we were beaten by the better team.
Let's do one at the weekend and take a trophy home.

I don't post often nowadays but Goldson should have cleared that cross! I have no idea why he didn't? Big Bassey was left wrestling with the guy who scores but Goldson let himself down I'm afraid. Small margins but that was completely avoidable.

Sorry DK but I will not applaud failure. we froze apart from Bassey . and ultimately the thief from Juventus who contributed nothing from the moment he arrived but stole a wage Cost us in the end . better team won but for me this was a failure and a team who could not handle pressure and expectation.

Incredible effort especially at the end. Remember thinking in 2008 they never gave everything but tonight they gave their all. Down to couple of poor mistakes but can come back so proud. Heartbroken for them an the fans.

Players done great to get to the final but many them didn't turn up tonight when neeeded.
Disapointed we didn't go after game till last hour this was a one of game rather we went out 4-3 final score than like we did.

WEWILLSTANDTOGETHER, I have seen so many posts from you criticising rather than backing your side! They left everything out there to a man and will be hurting as much as you and I. EF had beaten better teams than us before the final and didn’t allow us to play the game we wanted to play. That is football and to even give ourselves a sniff of a chance is testament of this teams heart and the tactics of Gio.
