Great to see gios enthusiasm for our academy players today.
Especially McKinnon for his goal, great interviews from the lads.
I know some have knocked the level they were playing at but Lowry, Devine, king, mcann and McKinnon have all highlights how much it prepared them for mens football.
SEVEN academy players today, I know not all will make it to say 50 games but they have a chance.
Also there are others, alegria yfeko, ciubatrou, Wilson
Ure Lindsay coming through.
I does make you wonder re mackinnon Mayo, Williamson Maxwell Middleton et al. We need to create space for the best.

Great to see some of the youth coming through John. Really impressed with their confidence and composure for youngsters. If you get 1 or 2 a year transitioning you are doing really well.

What was good to see was that they seamlessly slipped into the team formation when they came on.
Some talented youngsters in the current group though, John25.
And you are correct, the Lowland League would have toughened them up.

Great post John, I can’t wait to see more of these guys playing. I remember seeing an interview from Sir Alex who said just that, he needed to make room for these lads (class of 92) otherwise all the time and money would be wasted.

Playing football against men no matter what level will always be a step up from playing teams your own age in my opinion think the b team in the lowland league has served us well and long may it continue.

It's fantastic that these youngsters came into the team today and we comfortably beat Hearts. I remember Alan Hansen saying about Man Utd's youths saying 'you can't win anything with kids'. Really? He was proved right, NOT. Maybe this is the way forward and it is what I hoped McCoist might have done when we were back down in Division 3. He bought overrated players instead of giving youth a chance. Pitch two or three of them into the first team squad next season and give them gave time. Lowry should at least be on the bench next week. Happy days ahead with that talent.

Honest answer yes re Russell definitely don’t see Durrant at all.
