This skov olden player folk saying he's a quality player playing out of position for his club team. If your a quality player you should be able to almost play anywhere. And if your a quality player then a team like club brugge or us for that matter wouldn't be playing for any of they teams. The reported 5 million could be better spent.

U think Kent would Flourish in Bornas position? 😂 He’s still only got two assist playing left wing that make him terrible? Stick Hagi or Sakala etc RB how would they do? Not well is the answer as the are attack minded players not defensive.

People keep saying ‘better spent’ but on who? We have a huge squad so we don’t really need any squad players, we have between 6 - 8 centre midfielders (depending how you define them) fighting for 3 positions. We have 5 centre half’s, Morelos isn’t getting dropped and is in really good form…. Where can the money be better spent? We need a right winger, it’s the only position we need right now, anything other position would be a luxury.

Kent is a quality player, try chucking him in at cb and see how it works. Not many people have the football brain and tactical awareness to play multiple positions well.

Any player we bring in must be of the calibre that they can walk straight into the starting 11. Can we afford that sort of player? The only starting position we need to fill with better right now is a right winger. Assuming all our starting 11 are fit, that is.

Agre BMGH, somebody to go straight into the first 11, hopefully no more squad players will be signed, players we've signed in the last number of windows haven't been good enough imo and haven't really had much effect on the starting 11.

Agreed Mark. Bacuna, Itten, Sakala, Simpson are squad players, and that's it. It's not to say that players like Sakala or Bacuna can't push themselves (the other 2 have no chance in my opinion) to a higher level, but right now, they're not good enough to challenge who we already have in the starting 11.

Sick of seeing the name Olson. Lowry came on and bosses his position. Remember that we ain't playing v abrohimavic or Alexis Sanchez. Why spend 5 million on a player who might turn out to be nothing better than what we have? Let the youngsters come through. Look at Patterson. Hardly got a game and we sold him for good money. Maybe get him back on loan;)

Missing the point I think olsen not being asked to play all position, just to be more adaptable which going by reports seems unable to do, also appears to have reputation of being lazy last thing we need is disruptive/ sulking player within squad, imo not coming anyway so let's move on.

Onewalter i might be wrong but I don't think that our financial situation is that bad, last season was tough as we like a lot of clubs felt the effect of C.V., with fans back at ibrox this will be a big boost to our finances adding on player sales and the sg money will also be a help.

Meaning better spent on a better player, we also need a cb aswell I'd say. Helander is having more issues and bassey isn't good enough for cb which realistically leaves goldson n balogun.

Skov Olsen is a player with far higher pedigree than some of our current starting 11. He would be an excellent signing if we get him. Bruges may however be able to offer the player a better financial package than ourselves though, having played champions league football in the past couple of seasons.
