However, why is there so much negativity towards Stevie G man?
I cannot understand it. The guy came in stabilised the club, improved the squad, made us respected in Europe again. Won the league. Stopped terry Munro. He left us in a helluva good position. We have a squad worth we'll over £100m. The guy worked absolute wonders.
Am happy with good and I think it's an improvement and we've won a watch.
But, and again no disrespect meant, the people slagging off Stevie and wishing him to fail really are being stupid and slightly embarrassing to rangers as a whole.
We should wave him away with red white and blue and the best of wishes and welcome him back anytime he so chooses.
If nobody has noticed he hasn't came and took any of our players, ie kamara aribo or Kent barasic goldson tav
He could have tok any I think we need to remember what the man done for our club, and also the personal sacrifices he made to bring us back from semi obscurity.
I for one thank him and will forever be grateful to him and his team. I wish him well and hope he wins the epl with villa (I know it won't happen) all the best Stevie 🔴⚪ï¸ðŸ”µ.

I agree with you 100% StevieG1, good post. I really don't understand some people's bitterness towards the man who gave us #55 and stopped that lot getting a tainted 10-in-a-row. Good luck Gerrard.

You’re not allowed to congratulate him on here because some folk think he should have stayed here until he was 75. The fact he hasn’t come in for our players totally justifies his reasons for leaving in my opinion, he’s signing players like coutinho and being linked with suarez, standing shoulder to shoulder with Guardiola and Klopp on a weekly basis, not martindale and goodwin (no disrespect to them) . Anyway ignore the haters and keep the name, nothing to be ashamed of with that.

It's embarrassing behaviour from Rangers fans in my eyes slating Gerrard.
Just like Celtic fans slating Brendan and calling him a snake after everything he achieved.
Same when they turned on one of their own Tierney and called him a rat and Judas when he left.
And again with Lennon who they chased out of Scotland.
And now we have Hearts fans turning on Souttar, booing him midweek and wishing him ill online.

It was the timing that was poor, especially after that interview (where he looked anything but happy) that left a bad taste in mouth. He left us in a great place and similar to how Villa are rolling we had many players attracted to the club because of his pull. I echo your comments and wish him well in his pursuit of the liveroool job which I think has been well publicised as being is goal. I expect him to do well at Villa and achieve his dream job.

I believe he will take Villa to top 8 club which is a big thing down south when u look at the clubs and money,
Hopefully Europe.
I believe he will get his job In 2024 when burgeon takes a year Out before the Germany job.
I genuinely believe he will be a very successful liverpool manager before taking the England job and retiring relatively young for a manager.
He’s the type of guy who’s life is planned out.

I don't see the point of this continuing debate on SG. Yes we think timing wasn't great but the opportunity arose and he took it. As others have said, he left us in a much better place so good luck to the man. I for one have no problem with the man. It's all about Gio now, so come on chaps let's drop it.

I agree parlane, we should move on. But I’m constantly hearing and reading negative comments on a man who imo is a rangers legend and who eeallly bought into the club. I think some are being very disrespectful to the man and so that’s why the debate on it mate. I feel gio is an upgrade. I’m happy. But I can’t sit and watch a legend being slated by some with short memories. Bring back Pedro in a bush?

You would think they would be glad he left?
