Yeah great news ted o bear, fingers crossed that still gives us a chance of him, he would be an outstanding player for us and as sweep has rightly called out he’s scored a good number of international goals. He’d be a steel at £7m and probably the best investment we could make. The hardest thing would be holding on to him after the World Cup.

The highlights I’ve seen of him on YouTube for bologna he looks clumsy, slow and zero end product. That’s saying something because YouTube has made many a player look good. If he’s that good bologna wouldn’t be letting him go easily.

Not buying this out of position argument. A good player can play anywhere. Aribo played left back for us and never looked out of place. Especially if Olsen has had numerous games at the “wrong position†he should be able to adapt.

An example …. Mark hately was a superb center forward but awful centre half . Tav is a great right back but not so good in midfield. There are hundreds of other examples. The wee Japanese guy is good through the middle but not great if he’s not through the middle.

People going on about the national team and club it’s 2 different thinks many players have been good for country and worse at club level and the other way about look at messi amazing at Barcelona but he was not great for his country for years.
