I'd like to get Soutter in now, don't see any future for Simpson but I also don't see Goldson going until summer. Helander I believe is back in training and wasn't a really bad injury so no reason to think he won't be back at his best fairly soon. Sands plays CB too and Balogun on the way back so I don't think we are in desperate need now.

Why would helander not reach standard we require again? When fit he's out best CH. And he's back training as far as am aware massive player 2nd half of season for us.

Dont get me wrong i like big Phil, but i feel he will be injusty prone now after such a long time off. he's not 23 any more . hope i'm wrong but have my doubts. thanks for the replies and the naw naw hearts supporter.

Deecee you're right, he's not 23, he's 28 and reaching the peak of his physicality. He's had one injury, not several like Souttar who, if he was to come now, would find himself third or fourth in a queue for games that includes Goldson, Helander, Bassey, Balogun and King. No need to fork our half a million for a player who will be ours for nothing in a few months, especially if Goldson stays.
