Just heard from a family who I regard as reliable source that Conor goldson is looking for around 40k per week! I'm really disheartened by this. I know if he gets a move to epl then he might get that sort of money but I'm not sure he's got too many offers.

This is what happens when you offer average players like Lundstram 30k a week or Roofe 35k the players who feel they contribute more to the side want more than they deserve.

I read weeks ago that he wanted 41k. He never misses a game and is decent, but Wilson already explained it all. If he's not happy, then he'll be replaced. He ain't no Ramos. Look how good bassey has become and he's only on about 5-10k.

Deeb lundstrum on 28k which includes his signing on fee which is spread over length of contract. Standard practice.

There is a wage structure in place at Ibrox and imo i trust wilson and the board to continue there great work and won't by anyone no matter who they are to budge from there plan for our great club.

In my opinion Goldson should be one of our highest earning players! Plays every week and is very consistent and I hope he signs a new contract! Lundstrum should be moved on.

Agreed. Pay Goldson what he deserves. Plays continually while watching Defoe, Lundstrum etc get paid more for very little.

I like Goldson and he is rightly one of our top earners but we can't break the structure and start paying 40k+. Colonel, Goldson already gets more than Lundstram, Defoe and most others at the club.

There are 1st choice players in EPL that don't get 40k per week, if he thinks he can get that elsewhere then good luck to him.

Lundstrum is on 30 grand a week. Defoe was apparently on 35 when he was playing regular, however I did hear he took a pay reduction. Offer Goldson between 25 and 30, if he doesn't like it then its time for a replacement.

A Slaughtered goldson for the money he wanted but if reports are true about roofe, lundstrum money then connor has every right to want the same money he’s been really consistent for us and probably right now is a really important player the money roofe is on is scandalous he’s had numerous injury’s and tbh isn’t a world beater real decent player but expecting more in terms of games played etc.

John, yeh I heard Defoe took a wage cut, that's just like the man. You mentioned Goldson was on 27 grand a week, that's huge, I didn't realise that. I hope he isn't going to commit 1 of the 7 deadly sins and be greedy. He has to be careful and seriously think about his next move, it could back fire on him and be left without a club. Sometimes the grass isn't greener.

Personally I would be happy to see Goldson paid the same as Roofe. He certainly contributed significantly to our success last season and has been excellent this season since GVB arrived. As for Lundsrum, I can understand why we are paying him close to £30k a week. That for me is why it would be a major plus if we could sell him this month for £2m / £3m. The overall benefit to us over the next three seasons in what we would save on wages for a player that will never win us anything could go to bringing in a player that could make a greater contribution.

To be honest John25,connor goldson deserves to be close to what kemar roofe earns weekly🤔Let me be perfectly clear here, i totally agree we shouldn't be breaking our wage structure for any player! But connor goldson plays week in week out for rangers and plays to a high standard in the majority of our games🤔So if like you said John25,that roofe is on 35k a week then surely goldson is entitled to ask for that amount also don't you think🤔.

RFC, no one is arguing that Tav deserves more, I think that some of us are just surprised that we are paying £35k a week to Roofe when he spends more time on the treatment table than on the park and we are playing Lundstrum more than Goldson given the comparative contribution that both make.

Nice to see lundstrums the new whipping boy, very good player who doesn't get the credit he deserves his stats for distance covered in top 3 every game he's played, does the dirty work that goes unnoticed, top trainer also.

The post CLEARLY states wages 20/ 21 season.
Some off u may just remember he got a new deal which increase his salary to 24k, so he is well compensated.
