Apparently Soutter is pushing to play his footy in England. I'm actually a bit glad about this as his injury history is a concern, we don't want another Roofe where we have a stop start player. I think he's a decent player but for me not Rangers class.

From what I've been told he wants to stay in Scotland and he's told his agent as much hence why stoke have pulled out of the running, Souttar has been offered a deal and it will be between us and them who he signs for imo.

Read today that John Souter mother is a season ticket holder at ibrox, this was mooted about four years ago.

SGL, it's his mum who wants him to sign for Rangers as she's a huge Rangers fan. Souter preferred option is down south where his brother is playing. His only choice may be with Rangers if other teams are now loosing interest.

Storm, that's my concern as well, his injury history isn't great. I actually don't think he's anything special, he's free which will attract some teams but not Rangers.

There's a good chance Souter would fail a medical. Old injuries showing their ugly head. I'm not so sure Rangers are even interested because of his past injuries.

Regarding any player's medical Baxterboy. Of course any medical will show up scars of past ops through injuries that's what they're meant to do pal🤔It doesn't mean because a player has had previous injuries and operations on ie. An ACL injury or a ruptured achilies injury that they're going to fail the medical🤔
Everything will be evaluated to the point the medical team are happy the op was a success and everything is ok🤔Of course there's going to be scarring Baxterboy.

this guy, has a horrendous injury record over the years and good on him that he has made it back - - however football is a short career and he cannot guarantee playing into his 30's with the injuries he's had - - If he has any sense he will go south make a few spondooleys and retire with a nice bank balance.

If we replace Goldson with Souter our defence with suffer for quite a few reasons.
1. He's not as good as him.
2. He will play about 20 games a season less than him.
3. Goldson is the true leader in our back line and replacing him will show Tavs defensive frailties up even more.

Regarding signing injury prone players. Did we not sign roofe and he was injured? Also oforbh was signed and RFC never detected a heart problem until after he signed on the dotted line. Rossiter is an other example. It's all a risk. Tav hasn't missed as many games as roofe and he's been here 6 years. Kemar only 2. I also believe that katic has been binned. Don't understand that one really, but I ain't a man in the know. Barker, Simpson need to be sold. Not loaned out. Don't know why we don't sell.

Rossco what bit off Ofoborh never had a heart issue when he signed do not get.
It was discovered in July when he had to go for further medical to be incin europa league squad.
