Just reading a wee article RE moving the old from to the North of England if the 500 limit in Sco persists. Think that's a good idea in the short term. What would everybody's preferred location be, Think St James Park or Anfield would be good, don't think Manchester would invite us back, LOL. Think as a one off Wembley would be mental. Think they would sell out with local support never mind the Rangers and Celtic fans. Its an interesting concept going forward and may have legs if we want increased revenue. If Rangers and Celtic get to the Scottish cup final what's stopping them hiring out Wembley or any other massive good atmosphere venue, Hampdens dug meat.

Non starter! There is no way this is ever going to happen. Pissed up fans from both ends of the divide invading a City in England?! I think people have got enough to contend with just now. They definitely don't need anything like this.

Yeah great idea to have . let’s say 60,000 ticket holders and countless other 10’s of 1000’s without tickets to travel to England then travel back in the middle of a C.V.

If you want massive riots at every service station on your way down its a starter if not then probably best we leave it in Glasgow.

07 Jan 2022 12:13:28
I had to check the date lol nope it’s not April 1st. 0% this will ever happen 😂.

I hear you probably not the most sensible thing to do but as a concept in the future would love it. Prob more of a threat from the SPFL or whoever is muting the idea to the government. Out of interest sws 72 were you in favour of shutting football down is Scotland.

Aren't the Welsh and Scottish Rugby teams considering playing games in England for the 5 nations?
If the ScotGov weren't so quick at introducing Draconian restrictions then people wouldn't be suggesting these ideas.

07 Jan 2022 13:07:37
No chance that’s happening.

07 Jan 2022 13:08:43
MPH that's different because those fans behave.

07 Jan 2022 14:12:28
TJBB I would have liked the fixtures to have been played out with restrictions, then see where we stood after the break.

07 Jan 2022 14:47:09
Personally I love the idea but I would prefer if only Rangers fans were invited! Wembley would be the perfect venue for me!

England - no restrictions on fans at games, nightclubs still open etc
Scotland - restrictions on fan numbers, nightclubs closed etc
Wales - restrictions on fan numbers, nightclubs closed etc
Scotland per 100,000 had a higher rate of c.v. than England! same with Wales!
Work that out?
But it's all to do with the science and data according to Nic Sturg-Un?
Or it could be that Wales and Scotland are playing funny buggers due to having devolved powers? Total power trip.

07 Jan 2022 15:28:56
It's crazy MPH. Drastically cut back testing. Thousands have had C.V. without knowing. Herd immunity will eventually prevail, perhaps in another 6 months or so. Boris got it right in England. The devolved governments are up their own a****!

07 Jan 2022 15:36:33
Hospital numbers and deaths are coming down. There actually sayin new varient a good thing as so week. that's why there stopping testing. Great news hopefully end is in site.

Think that was the problem sws72, the restrictions meant some clubs would loose a lot of money particularly any home team v Rangers or Celtic which is why they voted to bring the break forward. We had 2 away games which would not have affected us as much. With hindsight the 500 restriction was draconian and a better balance could have been found, 50% capacity should have been considered in combination with other mitigating measures, IMO.

Boris and got it right doesn't exist. How's your Brexit going Doiger?

Get Wembley booked up and have it there. Blue and green trains and coaches and thousands of p. ed fans everywhere acting like angels just having a jolly time. A great advert for Scottish football and everyone having fun singing and dancing in the streets of London.

Well it was a nice thought at least.
