I know it's all if, buts and maybes.
But would we be happy if Goldson, Simpson, Katic and Balogun all left between now and the summer.
Leaving us with Soutar, Bassey, Helander and possibly Doekhi as our CH's?

Dado he would have signed quick? What makes you think that? It’s going to be a pre contract so won’t be coming to the summer as he has stated he would rather leave in the summer.

Goldson you would want to stay rather than go
And to want Balagun to go is just plain weird! Pound for pound he has been superb and totally gets what it is to play for Rangers!
I understand the need for freshness but there’s a time and a place. It also amazes me how many people talking like they know everything about Doekhi, he could be average!

We’ve been after him for at 12 month (I believe but I don’t know), perhaps I was being naïve Storm but I was excepting him to jump at the chance of coming and perhaps once he signed we could have negotiated to get him now? I guess the ball is in his court but I don’t want to be his second or third choice?

Personally I don’t care what choice we are as long as we get him but rangers may not even have spoken to him yet.
He stated in interview the other day jan is no time to leave and that he would prefer to leave in summer.

I don't want them all to leave, but.
Goldson is running down his contract. I'd love him to stay though.
Balogun's contract is up in the summer. I'd give him another year depending who signs.
Katic and Simpson can go in my view.
But my question was, IF they left would you be happy with Soutar, Bassey, Helander and possibly Doekhi?
Not a difficult hypothetical question to answer?

Gone are the days that people jump at playing for one team or another. Personally if i was a player and had an option to play for 2 teams, one being Rangers and the other in some other warmer climes, and all other things being equal, it wouldn't be playing in scotland that attracts me.
Every player or his agent is looking for the best financial deal they can get.

I think Goldson and Helander is our best partnership. I'd love for big Goldson to stay.

I am hoping that Goldson will still sign a new contract. I don't see Simpson staying and I doubt that Katic will be back. Having read about his injury woes I am concerned that we might sign Souter, (but I suspect he will end up in the English Championship) . I reckon that we will sign another centre back but don't believe that it will be one of the ones mentioned!

We have to keep Goldson at least until the season is over.
Balogun has done well but not a guaranteed starter for me - would keep as backup.
Katic and Simpson, I’m sure we can bring in better.

Got to agree about Goldson keep him until summer, even if he does not accept new contract, as any new player would need time to settle, also he has been good professional imo and will continue to give his all until end of season,

I did miss the point MPH, I should have read more carefully mate.
I don’t know anything about Doekhi John25 reckons he’s a grade up on what we have. A few teams have an eye on him from what I see so he must have something. Yet a few on here reckon he’s mince but probably judging him on 5 min of football they've seen.
As much as Goldsons approach angers me, I would be happy to see him commit, eventually.
