Scottish football shut down for three weeks. Forecasters predicting this week to be abnormally warm 15 degrees on Friday. Exceptionally good weather for the time of year and good for football. Forecast for mid January restart plummeting temperatures snow bomb minus 11, likely postponements, fixture pile up, possible injuries, difficult travel conditions for supporters. A well thought out plan.

This has nothing to do with weather it’s about a C.V., the C.V. does not choose when it appears warm weather or cold, in my house my wife has it two daughters, father in law and two of my granddaughters one who has underlying health problems so stopping the spread is the most important thing, look at essential services they are struggling to have enough staff look at hospital admissions they are rising fast we have to control this so not having football for a while is part of that.

When there is a pile up and it hinders European progress and plenty of non old firm fans will say it's not all about the big two but the league must be honest and explain that the parachute payments from uefa to the teams not competing in Europe from the spfl are more than 8 times the money that those individual clubs will get from their amazing cinch deal this year. The only ones that make money from it are Doncaster and their broker, but them and the media make such a big fuss about and demonise rangers over it but in reality rangers bring in more money to the league than Doncaster or cinch could dream of. So the main priority for the league should be avoid fixture congestion, fulfill broadcast obligations hope for good progress from all Scottish teams in Europe and also who's to say that the krankie government will let fans back then. One thing's for sure as much as I hate them to give an impression of doing as much as you can to comply but keep football going will surely help gain favour and underline the importance of your league because if you can stop it like that then they may think why even start back this year. How many of teams would call the league now I'm sure ourselves and hearts would be alright with our standings now and even though we haven't all played twice 19 games into a 38 game season is half way I'd say that was fairer than uneven amount of games played by the teams as in quite a few games in hand. Then can we see who is crying about integrity. The people running the league are only in power because we are the main objection to the Doncaster's and McLennan's but surely they must see that they are useless.

The SPFL (Doncaster) do exactly what's asked of them by Celtic and its been that way for years. I think we are the only league that's closed down during this wave and I can't see the situation being any better in 3 weeks time. So if the plan is to get fans in what happens if its no better or worse. Total farce.

Doncaster has already said that if there is any further postponement of games, due to an already full calendar, there is the potential for the league to be called early, BAR72.
Just like it was in 2019/ 2020 when Celtic were awarded the Zoom title.
It's imperative that Rangers keep on winning for this reason.
