Ofcourse they will John, seen it coming a mile away. Taking the issue of moving fixtures to suit agendas aside, its a silly move to bring the break forward anyway.
If they have the next 3 games without fans and then follow that with the winter break, by the time SPFL fixtures are due to restart, hopefully C.V. cases will have decreased and we can get back to having supporters in.
if we use the winter break now whilst fans are not permitted to be in stadiums anyway, that would see a return to fixtures early January, i doubt the cases will have reduced that much in a couple of weeks. Makes more sense to curb fans now, let the games continue and then by the time the original winter break is over, hopefully things will have settled a bit and we can get everyone back to stadiums.
