Meant to ask ED, have you seen much of Armstrong? I’m sure he was mentioned in glowing terms not so long ago,?
Talk of him being the next big thing at geordieland I think, any thoughts?
{Ed001's Note - he never made the grade with Newcastle, so they sold him on, but there was a lot of talk when he was young about him being their next superstar. Once he got to about 16/17 he just never made the step up and they gave up on him. Looks like that was a mistake but, then again, maybe he needed the kick up the arse it gave him to work on his game? I only saw him a couple of times as a youngster and I remember him as being very small, which probably held him back as there are still a lot of youth coaches that look for physical prowess first and foremost. He is still not particularly tall, but he has filled out and no longer gets knocked around.}

Good player Tom would score for fun with the chances he’d get with us. Good movement etc. I think he’d cost too much for us with the way the Martian down there though.

I hope to god 🙠newcastle utd don't go down, but TBH it's looking very likely they will 😞No time for mike ashley whatsoever, but have a soft spot for the club and have many lifetime friend who are diehard newcastle utd loyal supporters and they most definitely don't deserve the way they're treated and taken for granted, by that parasite ashley 😡Its a fantastic club, with easily for me the 2nd best supporters in the world ðŸ‘🇬🇧.

ED . Your quite correct of course, there’s many a coach who will instantly take a dim view of a boy who isn’t growing quickly enough, but some, like my old pal Robert fleck proved these type of coaches wrong, despite very difficult circumstances.
