Morning Bears. At the start of the this season even winning the league was a dream. As the season has progressed, title #55 was all that mattered to me. We've done it now and anything else is a bonus. I hope we can go through the season unbeaten and lift the Scottish Cup! As for yesterday's game, we were flat after the Slavia Prague match but still the Tims couldn't beat us. We definitely missed Jack and Tavernier. Balogun is a bomb scare at right back! Happy days.

I don't think we missed jack yesterday, once aribo was taken out of the midfield and the game along with hagi, arfield and wright gave us the balance we needed and we started to impose ourselves on the game. We did miss tav as balogun was a bomb scare. Should have started with paterson wright and arfield instead of hagi aribo balogun. Said it before the game started. ðŸ‘.

Coldo, in my opinion we undoubtedly miss jack when he's not playing. You watch everytime jacko comes back into our starting 11 and how much better our midfield is mate 🤔 That's why when available he's the first name down in our midfield, under gerrard, who thinks the world of jacko and rightly so for me ðŸ‘🇬🇧.

I'm definitely not going come on here and slaughter Balogun either, the guy is a CB playing at RB. Yes he's not been great but he's gave 100% in a position that doesn't suit his game.

We definitely missed Jack yesterday, that shouldn't even be up for debate. I really like Jack, and when he plays, we look a much more solid unit, but there is a major call to be made on him in my opinion. Ryan Jack starts every game, when fit, but If he is missing so many games, we need to look at that with the champion's league on the horizon. Do we bring in a high calibre replacement for Jack and keep him as back-up? Or do we move him on and thank him for his service?
Before anyone starts, I don't see him as a liability, but this call, I believe, will have to be made.

Jack is a great player coop, I'm not saying he isn't. I just think arfield gave us the same balance in the midfield when he came on. If jack was fit he would have played with kamara and davis in the three but missing jack yesterday wasn't the reason we were poor, it was team selection. Had arfield been in there with kamara and davis, wright instead of hagi and paterson for balogun we would have controlled the majority of that game, you just have to look at the difference in us in the last 10-15 mins, we started to control the game after aribo and hagi were hooked. ðŸ‘.

I think considering we played a cb at rb we should have had airfield on in the midfield as you could see they targeted balogun and I don’t think hagi helped balogun to well that’s not really his game. Like when tavernier plays he really benefits having Jack in midfield as he covers him well.

Patterson was not fully fit hence why he never started think we all gathered that. When tav got injured. Balogun went into right backnover in belgium and had a decent game. Had one bad game in europe but has actually had a pretty good season in general and still a better player than katic.

Patterson was injured mate . Arfeild like loads gave said on here needs game time to get his form back . Arfeild wS poor when he came on against Celtic . You go on about a diff when the subs came on . it was 10min and fresh legs . Honestly you are entitled to your opinion but thank goodness it means nothing and you are not part of the management team lol😊.

hagi doesn't defend well and aribo seemed to have a problem getting his head into the game. not surprising really.

having watched yesterday's game again it is clear to me that we will need to bring in three quality players to strengthen the team, possibly more if some of our young players don't come through to bolster the squad. That assumes that we don't lose any of our top performers. Centre Half for me needs improving since Helander is very slow and will get caught out with balls over the top and while I rate Balogun I would like to see Goldson partnered with a top quality defender. In midfield we can't expect either Arfield or Davis to continue to perform at their current level every week and I fear that Jack will spend as much time on the treatment table as he does on the park. For me, I would like to see us sign at least one top midfield player. We also need a right winger and if Defoe and Morelos leave we will need to sign two quality strikers. Personally I don't see Roofe as an out and out striker and Itten just doesn't do it for me.

Jack seems to be very injury prone and has already missed 70 games since signing for the club. Good player when fit however he can’t be relied on for a full season.

Guys the manager in his interview says Paterson was fit he says he went with Balogun due to height and experience.
