That's not true we got to aim higher take ajax as an example I know they are a massive club but we need to try build better team we are on the right path. If Gerrard thought for one minute that's as far as he can take us he would walk the now. It be hard but we are still in early days of building a team.

This season has been amazing, and I have loved every second of it. Our European run was again something to be proud of, but I just hope the over eager on here who were waxing lyrical about this side and saying it's the best European Rangers side they have seen have had their eyes open? Yes, we have a good team who have done well, but they are not on the level Walter's 2 sides were, or wee Dick's or even Mcleish's were. If that was Walter's team who reached the UEFA final who were playing last night, we would have went through. I agree their football wasn't the most exciting, but they knew how to control a game and were way more street smart. It's not all about playing a style of football that is easy on they eye, is it?

Tbh i think the opposition we just played are champions league level. Beat Leicester without conceding a goal and the only other european side not too loose a game in their own league. Make no mistake they were beatable but had we not recieved a any cards the game could change in a few moments. People say what do we need now to improve. Believe it or not u can actually improve without going out and spending millions. The experience gained from this run is another learning curve for the players next year. We have a young nucleus and are still learning as a team. With a couple of shrewd acquisitions this team could be one helluva team. With the experience gained and another top class striker who isn't injury prone. i'd reject any bids for morelos he is tied to us in a contract so he may well put himself in the shop window for a bigger team. So gerrard should drum this into his head and promise him a move at end of next year i'd also offer him improved contract cause make no mistake if u are getting alfredo morelos at 100 % everyweek then whatever team u come against is going to have a game on their hands providing we have others on alfredos wavelength. I also think next year will be a big season for hagi, aribo and the like to cement their place and show they have progressed. i'd say we do need a no nonsense midfielder who isn't afraid to put the boot in. A rino gattuso type who will run himself into the ground first minute to last wanting to win every single tackle. Someone the opposition will hate constantly snapping at their heels for 90mins. Another years experience for the team but just as important another years experience for stevie G. People forget he is still in early days of management so still learning himself. And so far he isn't doing to bad a job i would say. Onwards n upwards. In Gerrard We Trust. Now onto sunday let's showcase our talents and go full on attack of their shoddy defence. Plenty of posts saying we are a good team and I have been on here for years and never seen anyone say this is the best Rangers team in Europe ever. Anyway inwards and upwards to Champions League next season. We are still progressing and each season we play at that level and in knockout competition helps for the next year.
