The club news to come out and tell fans to stay away from parkheed in a couple of weeks, what happened the last past few days mustn't happen up at Celtic Park, it would be a disaster for our club and put a major damper on our championship win.

The club have already released a statement saying they told fans to stay away and were in continual dialogue with ScotGov, Police etc.
The police and ScotGov have denied this.
Rangers have now written to ScotGov to get them to explain why they are saying different.

MrPH. I wrote at time off Celtic debacle in Dubai Scottish gov were not telling how things happened.
Celtic produced email correspondence with government they hid.
Remember it suits them to have fans argue about footy, it takes spotlight off them
Now they revert to type and say they never spoke to us.

I really hope our fans stay away from Parkheid. Sadly it's not going to happen. God knows what the putcome will be. Sweep is right though, the club needs to release a strongly worded statement imploring our fans not to turn up. It's all they can do. It won't work but they must try.

After the weekends incidents, if the police are not well prepared for parkhead, ie sealing off the area and flooding it with bobbies, then they are definitely not doing their job. They will be as much to blame as any idiots that might congregate there.
