Rangers have just won the league for the first time in 10 years, but the papers are full of C.V. experts claiming how our celebrations could has catastrophic effects on rates, death etc.
We knew it would happen, and we gave them the fuel to start the fire and keep it stocked for a long time. As much as I think it will be blown out of all proportion, it does not reflect well on the club at all.
I didn't have an issue with the celebrations at Ibrox, but that should have been that. The George Sq thing was a stick on for trouble. The video of the 2 clowns fighting has just handed the haters all the ammunition they needed. When will some people learn?
So, instead of the club dealing with requests from the media regarding our title win, they'll be firefighting wave upon wave of negative press centering on the few idiots who have wasted it for everyone else.
I obviously gave some too much respect when I condoned the celebrations on Saturday.

I can see why fans wanted to be there at the stadium when the players were there but the George Square thing is just thugs.

Not everyone who were at George Sq were thugs sweep, but there were a good few of them. I wasn't there myself, but a relative was, but after half an hour they decided to leave because of some of the characters who had gathered. George Sq was a bad idea and we should have left it at Saturday's celebrations when there was zero trouble or arrests.

Maybe not thugs, but certainly selfish idiots! I was against the UB organising the gathering at Ibrox, but it was always going to happen. The club at that point could have stopped anything further by asking the fans not to gather in numbers anywhere else, but to say that a proper celebration would be organised when we were allowed to do so. Again, not blaming the club or the support, but it didn't happen and now our fans are once again in the firing line. I repeat, it shouldn't have happened, but for the usual suspects in the SNP to be taking pot shots at us after silence when there were riots at Celtic, when there were independence marches and BLM demos it's fairly obviously hypocritical for them to spout their nonsense about our fans celebrating.

Totally agree DoTheBOuncy! Some, not all, have given the usual suspects the ammo to blow this out of proportion, and now they are on the war path. Had to laugh at our idiot of a justice Secretary who piped up, but was nowhere to be seen after the shenanigans in the east end? Wonder why that was? Oh yeah, he's one of them who is usually never scared to show his colours.
George Sq should never have happened, although those who are condemning it in the rags, will have loved every second of it because they knew it would fill their column inches for days to come.

Hopefully all the anti rangers sentiment over us winning league will open the rangers SNP supporters eyes at last.

I find it bizarre why anyone, especially Rangers supporters, would vote for these clowns. The day Salmomd and other senior figures held a press conference in that slop House, the old govan arms (celtic pub) was proof on what their agenda was. I wouldn't give them the reek off of my s*#te!

Sure I saw last week that something like 98% of C.V. transition has been indoors. There is virtually zero risk of spreading/ catching it outdoors so although disappointing behaviour from some it won't have any affect on death rates or the NHS.

To be fair 6counties I am sure all of the same comments would have been made regardless of who's fans it was. Celtic had about 100 fans at their stadium for an hour and were rightly criticised. Rangers I would estimate had a few thousand for hours and again are correctly criticised.

I don't have an issue with the celebrations, it's the few idiots causing trouble and fighting who have given the msm, snp etc the ammo to have a go. I work in the health and safety industry and you have more chance spreading and catching this in supermarkets, factories, offices etc when you go to work. I'm not saying you can't catch it outside, because you can, but challenge rates are on a different level when indoors, as opposed to outdoors.
