Thank you to my beloved team, The famous Glasgow Rangers, My very first Rangers game was the Scottish cup final Vs Celtic in 1966 I was 13 years old, Kai Johansen scored the only goal of the game, "singing Kai aye yippee yippie aye" out was an iconic goal and he made history by being the first foreign player to score in a cup final, I was hooked and Rangers were in my heart and my soul and have been there now for nearly "55" years, today all the emotions of being a proud rangers supporter came flooding back and I would like to thank Mr Dave King and everyone else in saving our club, our manager his backroom team the players for bringing us to this day on the verge of 55, and last but not least to every single one of you supporters who have stood by our beloved team and made it all happen, buying season tickets, raising funds, fighting fund etc, going to grounds you never thought or probably heard of. For always believing never faltering, and most of all for trusting, give yourselves a salute because you all deserve one. I am sure like me Rangers are etched in your heart. God bless everyone connected with Rangers and always remember 55 as I remember "Kai aye yippee yippee aye".

Great and emotional post Buzultra. I was at that 1966 final and was 15 years old and remember it clear as anything. Happy Bears this morning.

Good posts guys. I'm not as old as you guys but remember watching Kai score the winner in that cup final replay, I think it was? I was only 9 but will never forget the sheer joy as I jumped about the place with my dad. Afterwards Colin Stein became my idol. Still is! Loved him.

Buz and Doiger enjoy men this year has been both hard and emotional for me my wee mum died but not from C.V. she was 80 and a hard liner to the end. I take my loyalty from her she knew the score in life. Without getting sad through the hard times and C.V. and apart from my immediate family, Rangers fc and anything connected to the club have helped me through a crazy auld year. Rangers are like what my mum would say " The auld doag for the hard Road" old and reliable to get the job done. So gents enjoy your smiles and toast to absent friends. To Rangers and all connected both past and present Thank You for infecting my life especially this past year. Its been some sail. Ps the banter and turmoil on here has been unreal, stay safe and take care. 💙 55 ðŸ»ðŸ¥³.

My first game was a friendly tournament with man utd, sampdoria and can't remember the other team.
