Straight application of the rules.
Two yellows constitute automatic one match ban in next game irrespective of league or cup. Not Europe
Straight red two match ban, one immediately next one 14 days after offence.
If u appeal one match ban a date is set for hearing, if guilty becomes two match ban with immediate effect from date of hearing.
Take the ban tomorrow and move on, as he was guilty of offence.

Not that I want to say I told you so John25, but I told you so. There's already a paranoid post on their forum regarding the one game ban and how Gerrard will be in the dugout for the game.
Again, thanks for the detailed reason for the one game ban, but I am well aware of the rules. If you have time, why don't you explain that to those on the Celtic forum who obviously don't.
