Don't know how many on here will agree with me here, but here goes anyway! I totally don't agree with the social media union bears statement of meeting to greet our team at 11am at the ticket office on saturday, before our game against st. mirren🤔Why can these guys not obey what our club are saying and don't participate in this event 🤔These guys are greeting and fed up like all of us rangers supporters that we are under these constraints, regarding this terrible C.V., but at the same time jeopardising why the rules are in place in the first place? Keep breaking rules and the longer it could be think 🤔With that statement going out it will create a big crowd now attending i fear and you're not being better than the sensible supporters who're obeying our club's message, to not do this! It doesn't make you a better rangers fan because you feel you have to attend! The better rangers supporters will listen to our club and what they want us to do! We'll have our time in the sun to greet and cheer our team, but for now keep a lid on it and by all means celebrate title no.55,but do it safely by the book and with your family! Stay safe and well fellow bears 🙏The union bears do create great atmosphere at our games, but they have also on occasions brought shame and fines upon our great club and i personally feel this is another not called for act of going against our club's wishes!
Think for god's sake guys!

Well said, as we all know the media and those at other clubs are only waiting for us to do something so it can be blown up and create another circus.

04 Mar 2021 08:57:10
Well said SGL. With the exit from lockdown strategy now in place its likely that we will be back at Ibrox next season and we can all show the team our appreciation then. I've heard of people organising parties which will break all the rules as well which I don't agree with. In my opinion the gathering of fans at Ibrox is no better than the gathering of the fans outside Celtic Park protesting. Ok, they would be there for different reasons but it's the same rules being broken. We've come this far with cv restrictions we need to be responsible for a bit longer and see it through.

04 Mar 2021 08:59:43
Totally agree we have to stay humble and sensible as a club. We can celebrate properly once it is safe for everyone to do so.

04 Mar 2021 09:01:34
I agree with you coop, certainly because there will be too many people there, that is a recipe for disaster when you function in booze and guys travelling to Glasgow from other places like ayreshire etc, shame if anything happens and people were arrested, front pages beckons

Nope. I hope it’s abandoned, simply because of the numbers.

04 Mar 2021 09:08:24
Couldn’t agree more coop. It was the same last night at the Tony Mac with the fans in the corner and letting of fire works. Not saying this was the union bears at the game last night but it was our fans none the less and they need to know that these sort of actions will cause more harm than good not only for our club but the general public too.

04 Mar 2021 09:10:31
And wouldn't help, canning the fireworks as well, that was cringeworthy tbh.

04 Mar 2021 09:19:20
100 % mate we have all missed going to ibrox this year I'd love nothing more to be at ibrox on sat. But this isn't the time we are close to re-opening and getting our lives back. The club will arrange a party for us all am sure of that. But just now isn't that time. Stay humble and stay safe, celebrate the title with decency don't bring any shame on our club.

04 Mar 2021 09:26:43
Didn't the Rangers players go over and acknowledge the fans at the end of the game?
Maybe we should discipline the full Rangers squad and management for encouraging them. 🤔🙄.

04 Mar 2021 09:29:43
Gods sake,

Have Rangers got to resort to herras fencing like the piggery lot.

Do these clowns want a points deduction .

Are the club aware of this proposition .

04 Mar 2021 09:30:20
Fireworks is a worry if it’s idiots or drunk people letting them off, dangerous and a big worry that someone gets seriously hurt, or a fire is caused, but safe and controlled fireworks is fine, unfortunately they will be too many people who will just let them off without any care where they’re going.

04 Mar 2021 09:39:43
Completely agree Coops, don’t consider myself a better supporter but all supporters of our club should act responsibly and within the confines of the law and C.V. protocols.

04 Mar 2021 09:41:10
Nothing more than wee neds who think they are above the law and more important than the club. I would be happy to see the club responding to the UB's self indulgent post to tell them to stay at home until such gatherings are allowed.

04 Mar 2021 10:42:26
MPH, i always like your posts but that's a weak/ feable post by you there pal TBH! I need say no more.

04 Mar 2021 10:45:00
Completely agree coops also those idiots standing outside the stadium last night setting of fireworks that nearly hit players are a joke as well to be honest.

04 Mar 2021 10:46:20
Well said coops surely this will be stopped by the club, the firework display was cringeworthy last nite as well or maybe I’m just getting auld.

04 Mar 2021 10:58:53
Points deduction 🤣🤣
Hysterical nonsense. 🤭.

04 Mar 2021 11:21:09
It's a fake statement, not from the Union bears.

04 Mar 2021 11:26:28
Only the Blue Rinse Brigade on here seem to be getting Hysterically Morally offended at everything they disagree with. 🤭
And it's all the big bad UB's fault. 🙄
Well going by the online pictures they must have a Senior Citizens Section as there was plenty of "older" guys and even girls standing outside the ground!

04 Mar 2021 11:27:30
Think he was being sarcastic Coops mate.

04 Mar 2021 11:30:40
SGL - sarcastic reply from myself to the hysterical nonsense as usual on here where everyone focuses on the negative after we've just won another 3 points at a difficult ground on our way to being officially crowned Champions.
We sing a song - 🎶no one likes us, we don't care🎶 and some on here are worried how it looks to the media and Scottish football in general?
