Ok fellow bears let's see who agrees with this regarding alfredo morelos 🤔 As you all know and like most on here, i'm a big fan of El Buffalo! When alfredo goes one on one with the keeper with time to think, he never looks comfortable with me, that he's going to put the chance away, whereas when it comes to him quickly he can score instinctively with a quick second finish,
when he has little time to think. I think similarly to kenny miller did as he got older,
he'll improve on his one to ones and open his body more, with more finese in his finishing,
instead of trying to put his laces through the ball most of the time, with power 🤔If he adds this to his game what a striker he'll become towards his peak years of 28-32 years old 👌He's still only 24 with time to become even better 👍🇬🇧.

I love Morelos SGL - but that's my only issue with him. Composure in front of goal.
It's why I always say Édouard is technically better but I'd always chose ❤️ Morelos 💙 over him. 👍.

He isn’t a good finisher coop, that has always been the case, you can’t change that by coaching,
What you can do is work on his strengths, which is obviously what they’ve done, I don’t think anyone would put money on Alf scoring on a one on one

Having said that coop, a one on one situation is not easy, many strikers don’t enjoy the situation as the pressure is felt immediately, because people regard it as a bad miss, only some players are very good at that, like shearer linekar etc.

Totally agree coop, I've always thought that about him too much time to think and he misses more often than not.

Always felt a certain A McCoist was like that a bit as well, instinctive striker, not a thinker too much.

Tomthumb what you on about Alfie isn't a good finisher, he's averaging a goal every 2nd game to me that's a good finisher.

Agree Tom, Morelos does not have good technique and almost impossible to change that now. He has many other strengths and developing these even further makes him an excellent striker.

Kris boyd, ally mccoist, marco negri were cold finishers imo 👍Superb one on one finishers who just went into the zone when faced with a one on one with a keeper. So composed and natural finishers as jermain defoe is also 👌I agree TT12 that you can't coach that into a striker its a natural trait they have 👍I also agree that working on morelos's strengths as a striker is what our coaches have done and improved him on the good traits he has as a striker 👍🇬🇧.

KJA9, i think you're missing the point on his one on one finishing ability mate, when buff has too much time to think about it 🤔Of course he's still a very good goalscorer with better traits within his striking armoury mate 👍🇬🇧.

It won't say how many chances he missed, who played badly etc.

why does any one want to criticise him. he is instinctive. he has scored a few one on ones, but is it not a good goaly that prevents the goal rather than a poor striker. i haven't seen defoe going on one on ones as he is rarely in that position, ie picking up the ball in last 3rd and running with it. but can we not just enjoy what he does bring rather than highlight what he doesnt. Rangers are weaker without him.

I have an entire Rangers bus who all knows Alf isn’t a great finisher on occasion, he’s missed a thousand chances from 2 yards

There’s a big difference between a great finisher and a centre forward, some midfielders are great finishers, but they’re not great forwards,

If you don’t know the difference that’s fine, il stick to the truth

And nobody said anything bad about Alf, just that one or two seem to spend a lifetime posting the exact same things every single day about they’re love for one player, like we don’t already know.
