Going back to chats about Josh Doig I posted after our Hibs game that we should sign him and got cut down by a couple of posts. He's a real talent but couldn't replace Barisic and then we have Bassey. I read Chelsea and Man Utd are looking at him. He's a future Scotland leftback and we should try sign him and loan him back to Hibs. He's 18 and arguably player of the match when we played them.

The boy looks a player from what I've seen but very much doubt he would start for us. he's just re signed on at hibs for another 2 year.

Seems very good. However a lot depends on decisions re Bassey and Maxwell is highly regarded.
Has it to be better than Paterson.

Davie i fully expect borna to move on for a good fee come the summer. he's in same mould as borna and would be a great replacement.

He’s a decent player I agree but surely we have some young 18 year olds waiting in the wings for a chance we can’t buy every promising young player. Auchenhowie has to start baring some talent.

I would go for Doig if Borna goes. Doig looks better than Bassey. We need to be snapping up the best Scottish talent as we have missed out on a few in the recent times.

Think we’re getting ahead of ourselves. I keep hearing boy Maxwell is excellent and can’t be much younger than Doig. Hopefully we can also give Bassey game time in some of the remaining fixtures this season.

100% bankie the difference between our young players and there’s is with low expectations as a club they can throw these guys in see if they sink or swim we are chasing silverware so can’t afford that chance once the leagues wrapped up March 21st at the piggery we might get to see some of our young talents show what their capable of.

Doig looks a player with a big future but has recently signed a new deal with Hibs.
Thought Jordan Lukaku looked like a player with a bit of quality who is currently on loan at Royal Antwerp from Napoli.

I mentioned McCann last year, was shot down as he is not as good as Davis yet.
