I promise to be very fair and not to cause any offence with anyone, and i won't ban anyone , not on my first shift
I also promise you free horseracing tips every week and a pot of scouse, with bubble n squeak, followed by a lovely " wet nelly" every Sunday, if I have any bread, , , I have references from the sfa, bbc, , and mensa, .
And plenty of support from my fellows bears on here, well at least 3 anyway

Scouse comes from “ lob scouse : from Germany, and the Italians were frying fish with potatoes long before the British
Also some people believe it’s the Scottish who invented fried pizza, not the case
The Italians were deep frying bread stuffed with cheese and tomato on the streets long ago,

The English fish n chips first originated from the Jewish community in London, and the first chippy was Harry ramsden in Leeds, , rubbish nowadays and just another group company, nothing like a good fish and chip place,

Corr Ed, actually quite a few food stuffs came about as marketing campaigns, especially eggs and milk dishes, and the true story of foods is incredibly interesting,
Most people would say carrots come from Holland, not so, they originate from Afghanistan and we’re white, the Dutch made them orange in honour of the house of orange, potatoes were first discovered in Peruvian mountains and were indeed poisonous, the mountain dwellers found a way to turn them into food by burning them and burying them for weeks, before cooking them, , have I got the job? 😉.
