I know we've had this debate here before but does anyone feel that McGregor is now the greatest goalkeeper Rangers have ever had? Goram, Klos and Wood were great too but I just think McGregor has added that something special the last couple of years.

Doiger. great shot stopper. absoloutly garbage with the ball at his feet. his pass ratio must be terrible.

09 Feb 2021 08:34:33
Shagger is great but it's Goram for me.

09 Feb 2021 08:37:56
Goram was the best keeper to play for Rangers.

09 Feb 2021 09:32:54
More importantly he should be captain his reaction and our captains lack of one spike volumes.

09 Feb 2021 09:37:59
Greegs has always been our greatest keeper even before 2012.

09 Feb 2021 09:44:48
Loved Goram.
Love McGregor for the high standards he still sets at 38.

Greegs is a brilliant goalkeeper and IMO he's the 3rd greatest keeper i've seen playing for rangers! Chris Woods is easily the 2nd greatest keeper i've seen playing for rangers, but without a shadow of a doubt, andy goram is the greatest goalie i've seen playing for rangers
👌Goram was on a different planet in ability to any other goalie i've seen at rangers 👌He was also immense with the ball at his feet and his kick outs 👌.

Chris Woods for me, totally commanded the 6 yard box and cross balls in addition to being great shot stopper. On those days though less emphasis on distribution and ability of keeper to control and play ball with feet. From the little we’ve seen of Jon McLaughlin that is an area where he is strong.

No doubt about - The Goalie Goram all day long.

09 Feb 2021 09:38:40
I agree, loved Goram as a player, as a person, no, Stefan was absolutely fantastic

Greegs is a legend deserved of his place alongside the greatest

Some people have forgotten or weren’t old enough to remember his first time around, wonderful keeper.

Gleam greegs and woods all legends I’ve met goram and greegs and both were very courteous.

Rangers have always been blessed with great keepers. Even some of the ones that haven't quite made it as greats but have filled in when we have had injuries etc have been great. Take Wattereus for example. Best goalkeeper we've had with the ball at his feet. 2 footed and could pick a pass for fun. Charbonnier was great before his injury. Niemi was great but never really had a chance with us over a prolonged period.

Mcgregor is just about on a par with Goran for me at the moment. I have no doubts though that when he eventually retires he will be my favourite ever Rangers keeper. i'm a bit biassed mind you. I had the pleasure of playing with him for a season before he made the grade for Rangers youths and got signed on YTS and I got binned🤣.

Andy will be extremely courteous to anyone, just don’t tell him that you have any cash.

09 Feb 2021 12:57:31
I agree with SGL again (that’s worrying only joking mate)

1 goram
2 woods
3 McGregor.

Goram, Klos and Woods before Allan for me guys.

09 Feb 2021 13:58:17
I met andy goram at a charity night and it ruined him for me. Great keeper but tbh an absolute leech and his attitude towards the fans was appalling, u weren't buying him drinks u weren't worth his time was the way he came across to me.

09 Feb 2021 16:23:42
I'vd heard that herewego. I've never met him myself. Unbelievable keeper mind you.

09 Feb 2021 16:48:54
Yip, a very poor excuse for a rangers legend, very poor,

Owes everyone he meets too.

09 Feb 2021 17:55:04
Here we go I met him in a pub in mwell and he was the complete opposite of what you say.

09 Feb 2021 19:10:09
He basically planted himself at bar after speaking and was only interested in speaking to if u were buying him drink. didn't even try n hide it either. Like I said he's legend of our club and a terrific goalie but just not for me thanks. Never surprised me when I see the stories of his behaviour in paper.
