Ok fellow bears, who do we reckon is our best midfield 3? If fit it would always be jack, davis and kamara horses for courses for me, only because of managing davo because of his age and aribo 👍 What's my fellow bears thoughts on this?

Without a doubt that’s our best 3 coop and I’m hoping lessons have been learned, as taking any 2 out of those 3 out our starting XI is a risk that we can’t make again as we close in on 55!

Kamara Arfield and either Davis or Jack for me coop. Aribo likes to play behind the ball but lacks the 'take control of the game' to sit in the holding roles and he lacks the attacking capabilities of Arfield. Aribo doesn't suppport the lone ST or make the runs Arfield does. We have missed Arfield. 👍.

i see where you’re coming from coop, but for balance i personally wld have kamara davis arfield

those 3 earlier season were dynamite

i luv jack but him and kanara can be a bit too simila but it’s a v tight call arfield maybe offers bit more in terms of goals

but jack kamara davis wld definitely do for me all day long.

As much as i rate/ like kamara, i'd always if pushed to pick between the two, have a fit jack in there before him guys. Jack has everything for me and although kamara is more technical, for me jacko is better at the ugly/ dirty side of the midfield work and covers the full back areas better than anyone. Jack also is stronger and has more dig 🤔 He's the complete midfielder for me and he scores more goals than kamara.

For me, Ryan Jack is the best holding midfielder we have, he breaks up so many attacks his consistency is incredible, he is the 1st name on the team sheet for me.

At the moment I'd accommodate all 4 of Jack Kamara Davis and Arfield. As I've said on here many times, and I think the boss agrees, Ryan Jack would be first on the team sheet. I've always thought he was a good player, even at the sheep, but his game since then has improved ten fold. And I wish people would stop pigeon holing him as a CDM. He is much more than that, as are the other three. They can swap and interchange with ease. Jack's through ball to Kent was the pass of the game. He has become an ontegral part of the team, but unfortunately will need to be closely managed due to injury issues.

Defo Arfield in team we've went gradualy down hill ever since he got injured and were getting worse it would be a tragity if we lost our bottle and the league noo a can just see awe them wareing the boydy masks instead of us 🙉🙉.

It's horses for courses.
I would always play Jack, Davis and Kamara in Europe and against Celtic for their ball retention and discipline.
The other games Domestically it would always be Jack and either Davis or Kamara with Arfield.
The only downside to Arfield's game is his passing, especially when you need ball retention in certain games.
Aribo comes into his own when we need to break down packed defences ( like the Motherwell 5-5-0 ) .
Although Kamara is a wonderful player, he needs a Jack or Davis beside him to be at his most effective - as was proven in Sunday.
Arfield is excellent at exploiting the space vacated by Morelos in his new role. Don't take my word for it. Arfield himself said - players in Scotland tend to get attracted to the ball or man compared to England and with Morelos playing a deeper role at times, he normally drags a defender with him leaving space for myself and others to exploit.
It's wonderful to have so many options. It's just getting the correct balance for each scenario.
The only fear is when the talent that is Davis is no longer with us.

I like Helander but he had a nightmare yesterday. I would also have Balogun everytime because of his pace.
I would also worry about Davis starting every game. But he's our most productive midfielder even though he's 36.

Mph you could be correct re Steven Davis starting. But because off his experience He would certainly be called upon when we needed to shore things up mate.
