If the Morelos incident v hibs had happened against them and it was their McGregor that had wrestled Kamera to the floor then stood on his leg and only one incident was cited by the compliance officer, would we all still be standing back without complaint? There are posters on here happy to see our players get retro bans because "it was a red all day" even though the ref never thought so, I hope we fight Roofes ban because we should win it.

I have just seen the Roofe incident for the first time and I think it's a red card, he lunges and catches the guy. Don't think it's intentional, but he loses control of the challenge.

The more managers go on about consistency in the media the more the compliance team will scrutinise everything. Over the course of a season good and bad decisions even themselves out. In real time, I thought the Roofe challenge could have been red. BUT such challenges are not uncommon in games these days and often go unpunished without any further issue. Even with VAR in England. There was actually a similar challenge in the Motherwell v Dundee Utd game and no mention was made of it. The yellow card given to Roofe should have been enough. The crazy talk about the challenge ending Davidson's chances of playing in a final were laughable considering Roofe caught his left leg yet Davidson went off after issues with his right leg. I see the media were as late spotting that as the SFA were with the citing.

Jyf The ref looks at it again after the game and is asked if he seen the part that could be a red card he will say no then it goes to a panel of 3 ex refs and all need to agree that’s the system deal with it and take your blue tinted specs off because it’s a red card every day of the week.

Jyf it’s one the compliance officer looks or whoever is doing that job at the moment and then they ask the ref if he says he didn’t see the full incident then it goes to the 3 ex refs.
Sportscence is irrelevant as the ref will see the footage out with that
It always take a day or two that’s never been changed.
Maybe read up on the rules before commenting.
Roofe is getting what he deserved at the time don’t know what everyone is moaning about.

Jyf I would say I am right as I seen it more than once the ref never the same with ajeti dive and Morelos stamp refs only see these things quickly and not always to the full extent that’s why this was brought into place and the all clubs agreed on it.
So if you want to keep moaning about it blame our club for voting in favour of it.

I think Roofe was trying get his body in the way of the incoming player and when he was trying to plant his foot in the ground to give him the strength to keep player from ball , never a red card in the eye of the ref and that’s the way it should stand . We don’t have VAR up here so this committee of x refs to judge on matches days later should be scrapped just my opinion.

Guys, the bottom line is that the decision has been made, let's just get on with the games he'll miss, Wright and Itten will more than compensate, and Roofe will be for for the Celtic game, as will Alfie. The quicker they introduce VAR into the scottish game the better. We would be closer to 30 points infront if tht was the case . Am sure buzz bum would confirm this thee statistician tht he is. Gers players seem to win through skill n possession not fooling the ref. And for those tht said at start of season no rangers player would make celtics first team. Roofe’s is definitely a red . Morelos was definitely a red . Aijeti should get some sort of punishment aswell as laughed at for the pathetic dive. browns was nothing, every player puts an arm across when an opposing player tries to gain position. no intention of an elbow for me. we’ve seen browns intentional elbows many a time over the years. no punishment for brown. that's my honest opinion.
