Still lots of paranoia amongst the Rangers fans regarding null and void.
Here's my perspective on the situation.
There is 4 possible outcomes to the season.
1/ the season continues as it is.
2/ suspend the season, then continue.
3/ call the season on current league positions.
4/ null and void
Outcomes 1, 2 and 3 suit Rangers as we are the form team with a healthy lead.
Outcome 4 suits the Celtic Family only.
Doncaster ( and although most of us think he is an ar$ehole ) never said null and void was a viable option. That was tabloid spin where he said the same options were in the table as last season.
Leitch, ScotGov spokesman never said football could be stopped. He said ALL Elite Sports could be suspended. So another tabloid spin on his words.
Null and Void serves a purpose for no one. Although the smaller clubs have had a Government handout and a payment from the Hearts benefactor they still need the money dished out by the SPFL on final league places.
NO money will be distributed by the SPFL if it's Null and Void as they will not have the TV money which was already cut this year due to the SPFL owing money from last season.
Null and Void is a tool for banter. Just like a few Rangers fans were proclaiming on here it should be Null and Void last season, the Tims are using it this season. Some as banter, others to cover their failings and shortcomings as a team in their quest for the mythical 10IAR.
As for suspending the season - positive test rates amongst clubs is very low compared to society as a whole. The rates are also dropping and will continue to in the current lockdown which has just been extended. And if they were going to suspend the season would it not have happened in the current lockdown?
As long as clubs behave themselves ( Celtic👀 ) in regards to the protocols they have to follow, Rangers will be crowned Champions having completed a full season. I'll also accept the Tainted Title of a season called early! 😜 Just remember there is nothing in the rules about a mythical 75% of games having to be played. That was just because that was the figure last season.

Null and void is not an option that's why the lower league's were suspended, to protect the top two leagues that generate the tv cash and sponsorships. Null and void is all the tims have left, its like one of tommy sheridan's rallying cry's, delusional. ðŸ‘.

U need ten teams to vote it through. Hibs and Aberdeen won’t as they think they can catch Celtic.
Celtic won’t vote they need a crack at champions league to attract manager and new players.
