Lads am increasingly concerned with the language being used over calling this season null and void from people both for and against rangers. Do yous think it's a possibility or just scaremongering.

Scaremongering, after ‘Dubaigate’ and the unbelievable arrogance from Celtic I just don’t think they have enough influence to manipulate the outcome of a SPFL vote anymore.

I think it’s a very big possibility especially with the bottom 2 leagues now stopped and they haven’t played many games so they ain’t going to vote to finish as is.
Just need to hope the top league continues.

Onewaltersmith - I asked the same last week about the risk of the season being declared null and void. The chat from Doncaster in the paper this morning keeps this possibility alive. I honestly have a horrible feeling this is what's going to happen.

Null and Void would cripple Scottish Football for ever, there would be no European Football, no prize money to pay out, no further TV deals of any sort, why do you think far bigger leagues than ours have not gone down this route last season. Other teams in Scotland won't vote as for this because there being no prize money alone, award the titles to those leading each league, and promote, but NO relegation.

Depends for me if any money is being paid out. Most clubs are desperate and if they get a payout it's all over, till next year.

Just got to keep going and win all games, get the games played and points racked up to get as close to same or better arithmetic as last year
Hopefully at least the premier will continue
From a purely financial viewpoint calling the season now will finish a load of clubs
Finishing with null and void either the status as it is now will finish Scottish football
All this to save the unwasheds blushes. scandal waiting to happen.

They can’t null and void even if clubs vote, they won’t get paid out and no European football. Plus Hearts, Patrick and Stranraer would no doubt have a legal case against them . Wouldn’t put it past the manks to try tho.

Block out the noise mate. It’s absolute mince. The league was halted in March because there was no testing etc in place. Now the clubs have protection measures in place and on the whole they have been very effective and are working well. Let the Tims hold onto that glimmer of hope. The heartbreak will be all the sweeter 🇬🇧ðŸ†ðŸ‡¬ðŸ‡§.

Why could they not just shut it down for say 4 weeks until the country is through the worst hopefully, then restart it and extend the league? More and more are getting vaccinated every day, we’re nearing the end of this.
