I would keep Defoe til the summer and I’d ask Hibs about signing nisbet now and loaning him back to them til the summer. Let him play and let jd play for us. I’d love Alegria aswell. Alfredo itten nisbet and alegria would be great going forward especially if jd took on a coaching role full time.

Assuming alfie will be away and defoe a coaching job and used only in emergencies, i'd say itten, roofe,
nisbet and 1 other 🤔If we do sign alegria, he will be in the development team short term i'd imagine 🤔.

I e watched bideos of Alegria and he looks the part. But like a man. I don’t think he would be far away. I’d be happy with Alfredo (if he stays and behaves) itten, and then nisbet. With Alegria involved in and out but I think he won’t take long till he’s the main man.

I gerrard honest answer I’m not sure, but we scouted him for two seasons and did not make an approach. To get him now would be at least two million I think.
He is better than shankland and dykes.
I would take alegria has potential to make us at least ten million imo.

IMO we need to learn lessons from the collapse of the dark side. They only invested enough to maintain a Lead over the famous, assuming the challenge would not materialise.
We need to build better and continue to build better. Our challenge should be to improve in Europe every year, establish champions League group stages every year with domination in Scotland

With the collapse continuing we are in a good position to continue on now. A number of thier players likely to leave and a rebuilding required. unlikely to be an attractive option to quality players either.

John from what I’ve watched of Alegria he looks like he would be ready to our main man within a few months to a year max. After
That I think he’s going to be a top top player. We’d be doing well to pul that one off. Nisbet I’d try use fringe players and our loaners to bring price down a bit but I agree John if I was Hibs my bottom line would be £2m I’d prob chance it at £3m and see how the bidding went if I were them.

Agree re alegria would be a coup to get him. Really not sure how work permit scenario will work.
