Its amazing how goldson has developed considering when we signed him he was recovering with a heart problem.

Agree3 Disagree0

Wouldnt really say developed as pre surgery was mainstay in brightons side. we signed him 11 months after his surgery i think. He has massively improved this season for us. As he was a bombscare last season think think honestly that may have been due to pairing with either worral or katic. Big man been solid this season.

29 Dec 2020 14:56:22
I would say 11m9nth recovery is a long time for heart problem tho.

29 Dec 2020 15:29:56
Dsgersfan where has any one written it took him 11 months to recover.

29 Dec 2020 15:55:35
was it not after surgery, 11 months or not, i don't think you can put a time limit on it. over exertion at an early stage can set you back big time.

29 Dec 2020 16:13:53
It was paul that said 11m9nth.

29 Dec 2020 16:31:27
At least we signed Goldson, we didn't sign Asa Hartford who had a heart problem and didn't John Hartson have a heart problem as well?

29 Dec 2020 17:01:47
Bluetoon we should have signed john hartson. Sure was his knee he failed medical on tho? Could be wrong.

29 Dec 2020 17:06:22
Aye think your right Paul, sure it was his knee.

29 Dec 2020 17:17:07
Big Goodson has won me a right few quid this season with the anytime goal scorer bets, big man always 9/ 2 or 5/ 1, brilliant bet, he’s been a top man for the team this season, long may it continue and ill be having a bullseye on him for anytime goal scorer next Saturday to start the new year off to a bang 3 points against the **** and a few quid, great to be a a bear!

29 Dec 2020 17:25:58
It was his knees, and he has never got over it.

29 Dec 2020 17:31:19
Didn’t stop big Johnny Horta on breaking our hearts on a few occasions bluetoon, how I wish we got the big man instead of flo. He’s a big genuine guy gives 110% regardless dodgy knees n awe the rest. He was a proper old style centre forward n would have been an absolute hero at ibrox. Imagine him getting on the end off wee McCanns n mum and crosses. Could’ve helped ups keep the league a few times a player like that.

29 Dec 2020 17:33:05
Would have been great for us tom imo. He certainly wasnt bad for them.

29 Dec 2020 17:37:05
Bluetoon, i was not aware back in the day we were in for Asa Hartford and withdrew for medical reasons. Recall he had big move in England fall through before getting move to Man City, unaware we were interested.

29 Dec 2020 18:01:29
Yip hartson would have been great for us and IMO he’s knees, which obviously were in some sort of damage, never once affected him after we knocked him back. He was immense for Celtic both domestically and in Europe. Great player and wish he was ours. Previous post was auto corrected I meant to say mccann and numan crosses. He’d have ran amok.

29 Dec 2020 18:20:44
Agree Hartson would have done well at brox. Recall at that time we had made a fair number of high profile signings where our medical due diligence was questioned. Perhaps signature of Hartson suffered as consequence of that.

29 Dec 2020 18:23:39
Paul said we signed him 11 months after surgery, Goldston says he was training 3 months after surgery.

29 Dec 2020 20:23:25
it certainly didn't stop him paul, in fact I believe it drove him to prove rangers wrong.

I was speaking with Jordan Campbell 2 weeks ago, he's my neighbour since he was 8, he interviewed flo for the athletic, he was gobsmacked that flo scarcely knew who his teammates were, and that he wasn't aware advocaat had taken the captaincy from amo and gave it to barry . he said it was a very boring interview.

29 Dec 2020 22:31:19
Was this interview while flo was still at rangers Tom or lately mate?

30 Dec 2020 07:15:13
No inger, just a couple of months ago mate.

30 Dec 2020 13:32:51
Cheers Tom.
