All this readiness by some on here to highlight the meltdown and vitriol being heaped upon Lennon as exemplifying a night and day perspective about how we as Rangers supporters are different in how we conduct our affairs.

This notion of a band of bears who stand together in adversity.? well. we set a world record for attendance at a lower tier league football match (anywhere in the world! ) when we hit rock bottom which was great.

But I remember the vitriol directed by some on here towards Ally Mc Coist during his latter days as manager some even suggesting that he had forfeited his legendary status with the club because of his perceived managerial failings.

Also the level of vitriol being heaped upon Stevie G on this site after our Scottish Cup reverse v Hearts last season. you know who you are. but now all conveniently forgotten.

Yes, I remember when some vented their anger towards Ally and Gerrard on here and other forums/ platforms (I was one of them), but I must have missed the protests outside Ibrox and our players cars being targeted because of the frustrations we were feeling? Oh, and was there ever any instance when our club felt the need to bulk up on security to protect our players fearing further attacks? No, there wasn't!
Different ball game all together mate, and an insult to fellow Rangers fans when your trying to draw parallels to what's happening at Celtic!

I didn't see any Rangers fans launching barriers at the Police though?
And the Tim's have had 8 weeks of bad results - we've endured 8 long years to get back challenging for titles. Their obsession with stoping 55 is fuelling their rage with is embarrassing and cringe worthy for a team that has won 11 out of the past 11 trophies!
So if you think a few words on here is the same as the actions outside Celtic Park, then God help us!

Of course there is no equivalence to individuals 'sounding off' on a fan site. and public order offences outside Celtic Park.

Criticisms of competence of any manager are perfectly legitimate. football is a game of passions. but the criticism of particularly Ally Mc Coist by some Rangers supporters went over and beyond that . the point I was trying to make. 'vitriol' to attack verbally with malice.

Unbelievable, remember those who wanted statues of mcparland built and in their honest opinion truly believed warbs would win us the title, oh no wait, in their honest opinion truly believed pedro would win us the title. Oh no wait in their honest opinion and truly believed billy davies was the man to win us 55, you know who you are🤦‍♂️ Its football and fans will always vent their anger at players and managers when results are poor, particularly when we spend a fortune and then we chuck it after christmas two year in a row and dropping points left right and centre. Apart from the muppet I don't recall anyone else wanting rid of Gerrard? But there might have been more if last season was allowed to continue because we weren't looking likely to improve on losing at home to hamilton. 👍.

100% right coldo. Coops always acts thr high and mighty. Everybody else saw the warburton situation coming a mile off even in the championship, dome still had him winning a league and getting statues 🤣🤣 a few criticising gerrard for a poor run hardly equates to folk rioting and throwing barriers at police. Another pointless dig at other supporters.

Coldo, if you look back over the piece pal, we've all said some corkers on here! BMGH01,my whole point and only point mate is some on here wanted us to be where we're close to now, YESTERDAY! It was always going 2 take time! Like yourself BMGH01,I've been following rangers for many years now and have seen a helluva lot like you undoubtedly have 🤔Thats all i was meaning buddy and yes i admit in a lot of occasions, i've been far too loyal to a lot of our manager's in the past, but that's just my way pal and i support anything rangers 'till the end 👍The treatment of ally mccoist on here mate and the things he was called by fellow bears was absolutely shocking my friend and nothing will change my mind on that!
If i'm too loyal at times there's a helluva lot way too unloyal/ fickle at times!

It really gets on my t1t5 when people play the I'm a better fan than you or you're a tim etc when you have an opinion that doesn't suit the garden is all rosey agenda. We were poor domestically the last two years under gerrard, he was reluctant to change it tactically and refused to drop those who should have been. He also tinkered when he shouldn't have. So fans will have an opinion that's what makes us football fans. God forbid if we collapse again after christmas, then he'll be on here with a new name telling us next year that in his honest opinion he truly believes that the next manager will win us 55.👍.

There's a lot of things on here and posters on here who get on my t**s coldo, don't worry about that. In gerrard's first 2 reasons YES we fell short and we all know when. But we made inroads and improvements each season and have again this season. I stated when he came to give him at least 3 season's before jumping on his back. This i believe is the season and gerrard will win the league as rangers manager and i said as much 🇬🇧.

This I'm a more loyal fan than you stuff needs to stop!
My issue was having our loyal support lumped into a conversation on the diabolical behaviour of some (not all) Celtic supporters protesting outside parkhead.
If the topic is on the Celtic thugs, please refrain from bringing our support into the discussions and likening what goes on here, to what went on there.
Look, many have made mistakes, or been too loyal, or not shown enough loyalty, when it come to managers, boards, players etc, so can we please stop digging up the past on these matters and keep it relevant and up to date. For goodness sake, you would think we're the ones having a nightmare and about to implode the way we go on sometimes!
We are better than that!

Must admit great post BMGH01 and i agree we all need to stop digging things up from the past and post/ discuss about the here and now 👍We're going places under gerrard i feel and we should, IF it does indeed happen and we win no.55 all celebrate together, afterall we're all bears who want the very best for the greatest club on the planet, who we're all so very proud to support 🇬🇧 I admit i've been guilty of this and i can only speak for myself but i apologise to anyone i've offended over the piece. I can be too loyal at times and get carried away! We should all be together about where our club is heading right now and i believe its back to the top of scottish football, where the glasgow rangers belong 😁.
