Can't believe the rubbish surrounding Kent, saying that we can't match his wage demands and he's pushing for a move back to England. Utter rubbish. Scottish papers are only good for a fish supper or fried pizza. He's happy up here and his girlfriend finishes her courses soon, so I've been told. He's going nowhere yet. He'll score tomorrow. Bloody better. Got a tenner on for him and arfield. Also maradona dying. Sad, but drink and drugs over so many years. Could have instead, used the millions spent on coke, trying to help people instead. No sympathy. Wasted talent as usual. Let the haters hate me. It's the truth. Only him to blame.

So no sympathy what so ever when gazza passes away either then? Cause he's been exactly the same for last 15 years. Also on kent played well v aberdeen hopefully that's him now up and running again as 5/ 6 games prev to aberdeen was like an empty jersey. go for 2-1 rangers thurs.

How cruel not to have sympathy. Did you have sympathy for George Best? Anyone can become a victim of life. My wife lost a brother through drink at 60 too. There but for the grace of God.

I do apologise, i agree with your post regarding kent Rossco3001 but not regarding your post on the sad death of maradona! I didn't read the bottom part of your post properly and don't agree with you there mate.
The guy had an addiction and got in too deep, which can happen to any of us, if an episode in our lives became too hard to get over!

Gazzas a different boat. The drink and drug saga is endless. We've all lost people to both I'm sure. Maradona had too many millions to count so the coke buying wasn't a problem. He just wasted it. The drink is the problem. Best had liver transplants and everything, but still wasted himself. It's a massive pity. Gazzas doing the same. They are driven to destruction. Many in my family too have ended due to the drink and drugs. The difference is that they had multi millions to spend. So that's where the sympathy ends. Worth 25million and die. Sad. Give money to those who need it. Not the dealers. Wow. A massively depressing post. 55 is on the way.

Spot on Doiger. Being a 67 year young alcoholic myself, I am not asking or looking for sympathy or anything like that. A little bit of understanding and empathy goes a long way. The most important thing to me has been the understanding of my family, and the fact that my wife of 44 years has stood by me. No one starts out in life determined to be an alcoholic a drug addict, or whatever. Try a little bit of empathy or humility. You never know, you might actually enjoy it.
