Sgl I consider it to be very positive. However it last 37 minutes and explains many aspects of how the business is being run.
I’m sure some experts on here will know more than him. He is a professor at university in sports finance.

The reason i'm asking John25,is because although we don't continually want park and bennett picking up the shortfall every season, i do think some of the scaremongering is over the top and the guys running our club will make sure we're fine ðŸ‘We all must have knew this season, with this terrible virus etc and our expenditure on players and wages, that we would have a significant loss in our accounts, this year 🤔.

I'm continually reading quotes from fellow bears saying we'll need to sell our 3 highest assets in january and that as far as I'm concerned is clearly NOT the case at all! A small question to all, from our full squad of first team players, who do we reckon is our no.1 asset in value of a transfer fee 🤔.

Kent for me, I think he’s the only player who will go for more than £10m (other than the £50m for Morelos) .

Snell, i agree with SRK that i also do believe that ryan kent is our most valuable asset. Kent will make us more in a transfer fee than barisic imo because of 2 main reasons. Kent is younger than barisic and the type of player kent is 👌I truly think when we do eventually sell kent, we will easily get £20million +ðŸ‘.

I agree barisic is a quality left back but kent is a helluva talented boy snell. I can only see kenty getting better and better and we eventually won't be able to hold onto him mate 👎I honestly think we will get at least £20million for him in a couple of years and possibly closer to £30million!

Leeds will come back in with a 20M offer for Kent in January. I hope that an agreement is put in place for the deal to be structured around a summer move and not for a jan move, so he’s able to stay for the 55 party.
Borna fee and future will be heavily influenced by how he does at the euros as will Kamara’s.

Actually we don't need to sell anyone in January, the Directors have already said they will cover the costs of running the club until the end of the season, Keep all of our players until the end of the season and then we probably need to sell one or two to clear off the debts,

Borna has qualities that are very difficult to find, for me he's Rangers most valuable player, but I don't think he'll go for the most money.

We can speculate all we want but a player is worth what someone is prepared to pay. Kent is a big asset in the lucrative English market because of his nationality, while Barisic and Morelos probably hold wider appeal, in Spain for instance or even Germany in the case of Borna. Kamara is another player with wider appeal and is highly thought of on the continent because of his technical ability. As well as that, Aribo, Helander, Katic and one or two others might attract attention. We really do have a valuable squad right now, and it would not be a problem to raise £20m next year if necessary. At the end of this season maybe two of our bigger players will go, probably Kent and Morelos.

Not sure how much truth there is to this as it’s from the ever reliable football insider, however it is paramount that we tie down our best players. Whether he wants to or not is another story. Hopefully a crack at the champions league can sway him.
