Heres my take on wilshere situation. personaly think he's waiting until january to join gers. think its verbally agreed but rangers need to sell to free up wages first. very strange that he's knocked back every1.for a player out of contract with no team and to say no to them especialy a bug team like Valencia is very strange.

Agree1 Disagree0

He's coming for #55, to cement his legendary (as good as Gascgoine? ) status.
Ok I'll get my coat.

We really need to sell someone for a ton of cash, just to even the books. There won't be a two in a row until we stop making losses. The other side keep going on about this, but I'm also worried about where we're going to get the money to keep the momentum going.

I'm not being negative here. I just want us to sustain the progress and be positive for many years to come.

We rejected £16 million for Morelos, Colin.
If we were that desperate for cash ( or the board were worried ) wouldn't we have accepted that bid and wiped out the losses in this year's accounts?
Keep the faith in the board and shareholders.
Let's enjoy the march towards 55 and trust Gerrard and Co what saleable assets ( and we have a few ) we can let go in the summer. 👍.

Colin 1968. The books that were just published doesn't take into account season ticket sales or any merchandise deals as that was July that deal started.

Wilshere going to USA.

23 Nov 2020 12:03:57
Got to agree. If we were that desperate for money, knowing what was coming up regarding our accounts, we would have taken the money. The accounts and losses never crept up on us, we would have been aware of the figures for a while.

23 Nov 2020 12:40:19
We can forget about selling morelos nobody wants him. maybe firesale him for 7 or 8 millions.

23 Nov 2020 13:56:29
If nobody wants him 6counties, how would we get 7 or 8 million for him? 🤦.

A lot of Clubs run at a loss for tax purposes, Celtic could end up in a more precarious position than us financially, and long term if they lose on Thursday putting them out of Europe, then you'll see a meltdown. They are all, not just Celtic Fans, clutching at straws with any Rangers story because we're playing so well, don't forget, these muppets all tried to bury us once before and failed, I trust our Board. Our Commercial side of things will produce a lot of additional revenue for us, and as someone else has posted, the Castore money is not in these figures.

23 Nov 2020 14:09:44
Some of our supporters are going into panic overdrive, with these figures of a loss on our financial side of things. Trust the guys running our club, as they're confident and ain't perturbed in the least and have given reasons for this loss 🤔Its wishful thinking by the anthill mob regarding a lot of the scaremongering, but they can't full a lot of us, as rangers will be just fine financially 👍No need to sell any of our top players in january, unless of course it was a crazy amount of money we were being offered for ie. alfredo morelos, ryan kent, joe aribo, glen kamara etc! We're not in dire straits fellow bears!

Guys listen to a YouTube interview with Kieran McGuire very interesting and informative, explains a lot.

23 Nov 2020 16:59:13
Nobody thought 2012 would happen. I'm optimistic about figures but there not as bright as some of yous think. can't sustain those losses for ever, especially if uefa start taking an interest. A ffp penalty re a europe ban could be catastrophic if u look at hoe important europa money has been to us last 3 seasons.

23 Nov 2020 17:19:36
I don't think the gentleman now running us Herewego55 will allow that mate to get to that stage. I'm extremely confident we'll be fine 👍.

23 Nov 2020 17:40:05
Here we go no chance of ffpkicking in watch video re accounts.
For ffp to kick in you need to exceed ffp four years in a row. Ie 0ver 70% of revenue.
We r 59.64,71 and 74. UEFA have already said to clubs this year ie 74 % won’t count as season was curtailed.

23 Nov 2020 17:48:29
This can't be compared to 2012 mate, there's no comparison. Back then we had a conman at the helm with no concern for the club at all, whereas this time we have true Rangers men running the club who are prepared to put their own money in until we get through this. On top of this support we have European money, merchandise money, sponsorship revenue, season ticket money (granted we are taking a hit with no fans in the stadium) and millions in equity from our playing squad which is worth more than it has in many years.
Yes, things don't look great, but we must trust these guys running the club as they all know what they're doing as they've been very successful business men for many years.

Bmg u understand things well please watch Kieran McGuire about rangers accounts.

Hi John, he was actually getting interviewed in one of the papers the other day, and at first because of his name (apologies for being so small minded lol) I thought here we go again, but no he was actually very informative and came across well and not like the usual east end "Rangers finances experts" you find coming out of the woodwork this time each year. This guy is an expert, and gave an honest, unbiased and informative explanation on why things are nowhere near as dire as many would hope.

23 Nov 2020 20:54:48
I'm not saying it will happen lads, just pointing our we can't sustain 10 to 15m losses every season indefinitely.
