Question to start a Saturday debate. Now that Tav is eligible to play for Scotland. IF he was approached and made the jump would he be better than KT as a right back.

FIFA eligibility says if youve not played senior and lived in the country for 5 years after 18 then you can play, happy to be corrected.

In a back 4 or as a right wing back it would be very close between the 2 they both offer so much to the team. I rate both very very highly. Clarke has made it clear he’s playing 3 at the back with wing backs. And that fits tierney and Robertson perfectly. It gets mctominay and jack both into the team. And if u can add tav to that then your looking at a really good 11.

Sorry, racings on, i'm certainly not going to debate a lot of shxte, Tavs English, we're Scottish, that's that for me, God knows were this nonsense came from, what about the agreement not to do this? Just turn our backs then and our reputation for decency under a bus too, naw nonsense.

What about all the Africans playing for France Holland Belgium ENGLAND? What about the Brazilians playing for Portugal? And Spain? What about the Brazilians playing for Italy? The Brazilians playing for Russia? What about the Englishmen who represented Scotland before? And Ireland? And Wales? What about all those players Tom? It’s ok for them but not Scotland now? It’s not just cause it’s tav a rangers player it’s about an equal playing field and we are putting ourselves at a disadvantage by not taking advantage of this loophole in the rules. Everybody else does it but not us cause we’re “decent” and no wonder we’re sh***.

IGWT the only reason Scott McTominay plays CH is because we play 3 at the back if we played 4 he would not be playing there.
So it would be out of him and jack for the DM position.

Not necessarily KJ mctominay could play centre back with tierney in a 4 no problem. He’s played cb for Man Utd so can do it for us mate. But my point was we aren’t overly blessed with top players so to fit them all in the team. The back 3 kinda helps. Gets the 2 left backs in without affecting balance. Gets mctominay and jack in the team without losing McGregor. The team kinda picks itself. Only question would be Christie or Armstrong even Fraser and Forrest prob struggle to get in the 11 we have a good team. Be prob our weakness although the boy O’Donnell has done fine. So has Gallagher but I’d like tav at right back and centre half worries me.
