He’s a self confessed “Celtic fan†but I have something in the back of my head saying there was an issue or an outburst against Rangers a few years back. Possibly as I’m trying to think was it to do with the anti-catholic type of thing perhaps. Defoe isn’t in the same league as shearer or the same stratosphere as Henry, Fowler for me a better player but f**** it, so if that’s what he said he’s correct. Believe it or not, he was actually a Rangers supporter at one time and there was a story of him singing Rangers tunes on the team bus for whatever team he playing for at the time. It was when he was a young guy, just starting out.

Collymore played for Walsall as he was in the same team as my cousin.
Under 18s team and the game I saw he sub came on and was brutal just goes to show you what can be done tho.
My cousin was captain of the team and would have made but had to stop playing at 19/ 20 because of arthritis.
