Immense team performance and i'm singling out our captain james tavernier for special praise and here's why. This guy was the whipping boy for too long on here, when his only crime was he was off form last year.
By god he's shown the doubters how good he is and some! He has had an outstanding season thus far and proving he is a good rangers captain. If steven gerrard makes you his captain, then you are a leader without being a total bawler and shouter. Every captain has different attributes and does things differently and tav is a leader in many ways, no doubt about that. He's came back from his form slump and proved he's a cracking right back and a leader from his outstanding displays. He's a good rangers captain in many ways. Needs to win league as a minimum and hopefully a trophy before he gets my full approval. Without a doubt he has come on leaps and bounds. After Christmas is when we will find out what the boy is made of. Lead us to a title or.

Agreed SGL, Tav for me has been outstanding, defensively better than seasons before and by a country mile the best attacking right back in the country.
His value this season should rightly go through the roof, provided he has some silverware under his belt.
Great result, ruthless today and long may it continue.

After xmas/ NY has been our problem last 2 years. Things are looking good, we need to keep going this time after the winter break, UNLESS someone? Decides enough is enough!

SGL you used the word captain 6 times in your post. In my opinion captains lead teams to trophies. Quite obviously its the whole teams responsibility. My point is about a Rangers captain. let's no get carried away with the boy just yet. Its no even Xmas ;)

SGL tav was whipping boy because he constantly sold the team short not just toast year. however theguy has improved tremendously, absolute credit where it’s due.
