Absent friends 🍻.

We might have had a disagreement on the rumours page tom, but I feel your pain mate and things like this put the material things into perspective. Lost my younger brother over 10 years back through drink, and like your brother, a true Rangers man.
Absent friends!

We must be aligned somewhere then mate, my bro worked and drank since the day he left school, it ran in the family, and the person disease got him early, nowadays I have my wife, business and family but one day we will be watching the Teddy bears together again, enough of the sorrow and onwards and upwards, i'm going to bed with a hot drink and a morphine chaser, i shall return later with a large alcohol free beer and a new poem for the europa league, , and a few winners for brexit.

Feel your loss Tomthumb12 and god bless your young brother 🙏 Absent friends god bless them all and they'll all be celebrating up there at the pearly gates, when we win 55 this season 👍.

Here here Tom! The thought of being with him again one day makes it just that wee bit more bearable mate. Like yourself, I have my wife, my kids, my job, and my football team to help me through the madness.
Take care mate.

i'm from the other lot but i feel your pain and wish you the strength to bear it, loves last gift is remembrance.

It is hellish when the so called natural of order gets interrupted. I lost my brother when he was only 21 (I was only 12) on Christmas Eve 1973. We have a big family and whilst we get on best we can for the sake of our kids and grand kids all of the family still to this day makes a toast to him at 11pm on Christmas eve. Our way of remembering and never forgetting. My mother passed a few years back and it was the last thing she said, that at least i will be with my first born again.

Geesadodothat🍻👍.

04 Nov 2020 12:43:06
Dillits🍻👍.

That's tragic geesadodothat, it's heartbreaking mate. My mum found my younger brother and you can still see the pain that's permanently etched on her face even though it's been over 10 years, you never get over it. There's an emptiness my old mum will never be able to fill until she's with her boy again (he was also her youngest)
Life can bring great joy, but a boot to the baws, sorrow and heartache is always lurking in the shadows ready to hit you at anytime.

04 Nov 2020 13:16:40
Deepest sympathies and best wishes go to you and your families lads.

04 Nov 2020 13:18:29
Thoughts are with you Tomthumb12.

04 Nov 2020 13:18:57
I also lost my brother a few years ago, lifelong season ticket holder in main stand, he used to give my son his ticket for old firm games. This was simply because he hated 12:30 kickoff on Sundays.

04 Nov 2020 14:38:11
Some heart wrenching posts there, that puts everything into perspective, Family are the the most important people in our lives, condolences to those who have lost loved ones.

04 Nov 2020 14:59:51
Pacific, can I ask why he hated 12.30pm KO's on sunday's? Curiosity has got me and it sounds as though there could be a story to tell😁👍.

04 Nov 2020 15:45:17
Nothing really coldo, he was dyed in the wool 15:00 Saturday afternoon man, the only thing he hated more than 12:30 Sunday kickoff was the 18:10 or was it 18:30 on Sundays.
He had sly tv so sat in the house watching old firm games. My son didn't complain he got a braw seat in main stand every Ibrox old firm game 🙂.

04 Nov 2020 16:06:03
Just set in his ways, your son would not have been complaining😁👍.

I had a pal that used to go ballistic when the Friday games were on the go. He used to work late on Fridays. Missed umpteen. Take care lads and god bless absent friends and family 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧.
