From a business perspective can anyone justify the rationale behind our youth or B teams? Paterson looks a prospect I get but year on year out nobody comes through the ranks and I ask what's the point. I read good things about Lewis Ferguson but the fact is he needs his 100 games for Aberdeen and has benefited greatly and wouldn't have got that at Rangers. So we rather look to recruit young Scottish talent getting game time for their clubs and buy.

Without seeing the accounts and how these complement our business model how on earth could somebody honestly comment from a ‘business perspective)?
Are you being passive aggressive towards the lack of first team opportunities to our youth players or just having a moan in general?

Its a separate company that runs the youth teams and I believe most if not all of it is funded by the sponsorship from Julian Woldharts company DCP. They should be producing more players other than Patterson by now though I agree.

The scottish based player i want us to sign is current hibs striker kevin nisbet. I honestly believe this young man has a very bright future and will only get better and better 👌 With gerrard and our management team coaching nisbet, i strongly believe we could take him to the next level. Really like the look of kevin nisbet ðŸ‘.

He's not an all round better striker than morelos but a more natural finisher.

So you would rather have nisbet than morelos 6 counties? Coops, how is he a more natural finisher morelos scored a similar amount of goals the last 2 seasons at a far higher level, how well do you think nisbet would do at europa level, if you be honest? U keep touting all these players who are not good enough for us, Chris cadden allan Campbell shankland nisbet. Were never going to progress signing that calibre of player.

Nesbit looks a good player coops, I see where your coming from and also helps the homegrown quota for Europe. Could do worse than him. However, how much would he cost? Realistically u would say £2-£3 million we all know Hibs are hard to deal with and hold out for what they want. Would we spend that on a 4th choice striker from Hibs? I’d need to see more of him but I like look so far. People on here too quick to shoot down the idea of signing a player from Scotland. Look how well mcginn has done down south. Kenny McLean John fleck. Ryan Fraser. Andy Robertson? Don’t be quick to write people off because they aren’t fashionable.

John mcginn was the miss of them all, him n robertson. flecks made a good career. Ryan Fraser is rotten, him n kenny mclean wouldn't get a game for us.

If we win the league this year and replace morelos with nisbet or shankland it's a massive backwards step.

Totally different era, the era of 4-4-2 is gone. As great as he was ally mccoist eouldnt even fit in our team now, same with shankland. Both natural finishers, who wouldn't fit in our system harsh as it sounds.

SGL actually he got binned by Sir Alex at St Mirren then signed on at St Johnstone. Some of these youngsters you have mention previous wohld have us going backwards. Allan campbell etc. cmon.
