I've just seen the report of these two clowns, Jones and Edmundson, although I respect Edmundson's potential, he and Jones should be sacked for Gross Misconduct with immediate effect. As this happened after the match yesterday, these clowns would not have mixed with the rest of the squad, and as such, no SFA/ SPFL punishments should be forthcoming, as the Club has already taken swift action. The big difference is that the Celtic and Aberdeen players had mixed with the squad after their breach. Just when we are doing great you get clowns like these two, get them to hell out the door immediately.

I was looking for a good few goals against Livi recently but despite going 2 goals up in 15 mins we went flat. I'm hoping for a few goals this Sunday and maybe give Zunga a run out.

02 Nov 2020 15:24:00
I would love the club to sack these pair of clowns, but it might not be as simple as that. If they were to sack them it would probably go down the legal route of unfair dismissal, and If that happens, it will cost the club just to contest it.
The best thing is to banish them from the 1st team and try and move them on during the next transfer window.

02 Nov 2020 15:45:05
These two will be shipped out. Jones is finished and the Fridge is at an age we’re he should be playing football and should be moved on✌️🇬🇧.

02 Nov 2020 15:52:58
Come on the big difference is it's rangers this time, but no worse than the leigh Griffiths birthday party. In house investigation as per Griffiths protocol.

02 Nov 2020 15:56:24
Get a grip, would you be saying this if it was a crucial first team player? Absolutely not.

02 Nov 2020 16:13:21
I'm not so sure it would be hard BMG, plenty public figures lost their jobs due breeching C.V. rules during the first lockdown. I get what you are saying, but to me that is gross misconduct. If they hadn't been caught they would have walked into training as if nothing happened. The only option in my view is dismissal👍.

02 Nov 2020 16:18:23
I'm with you on that BMG. I was wondering if the club not go down the gross misconduct route? . Sackable offence?

No matter the outcome aren't we really lucky the cops were blue noses, the SPFL SFA Lord Advocate Justice Secretary are all masons so we might escape sanctions.
Dont tell timmy loy philtum or buznut about that though. They will think it's a cover up.

02 Nov 2020 16:23:02
The more I read and think what those clowns have done the angrier I get. So everyone is to adhere to those very difficult instructions to combat this dreadful virus, yet because I'm a Rangers footballer and live a luxurious lifestyle then I can ignore those instructions and simply do what I want. Absolutely ridiculous, those 2 should loose their jobs. Doesn't matter who you are!

02 Nov 2020 16:35:40
Was a poster on here not encouraged by some to visit pubs in Perth at the weekend? Think curtain twitchers were mentioned by some fans when some of us pulled him up about breaking the rules.

02 Nov 2020 16:39:14
I agree Cold, and I had posted earlier saying they would have probably strolled into training as If nothing had happened had they not been caught.
The issue here is both will have legal backing from the union and they can use the Aberdeen and Celtic instances as backup in their defence. Now, I know all clubs are different, but Rangers must tread carefully If they want to go down the gross misconduct road, because If there is not a clear case for this, it will come back on them.
The reason the public figures were sacked/ forced to resign is because they are public figures and can be held accountable, those 2 can't.

Good point sweep1 😂 tbh mate I don’t wholly stick to these rules, I still visit the odd friends house, mums house, the odd mingling we shouldn’t be doing. Most of us do it. However I wouldn’t be doing it if I worked for the nhs or played for a football club. These guys couldve brought the season to an end, let be hypothetical for a minute, somebody at the party passes virus to jj. Or both. They don’t get caught. Attend training and slowly pass it around team mates who pass it around each other. Coaching staff family bubbles etc. then we get tested before Thursday and full squad has C.V.. 14 day isolation forefeiting Europa doubleheader and 2 league games suspended. No training for weeks. Sturgeon has enough and shuts down the season. That’s hypothetical but very realistic if they 2 just didn’t get caught. We’re all in it together but some people have higher responsibilities.

02 Nov 2020 16:51:33
They had every intention of keeping quiet and carrying on as if nothing happened. They had every intention of mixing with the squad, could have ruined our title charge and euro games costing us vital revenue. Its Gross misconduct and they should be sacked. 👍.

02 Nov 2020 17:12:28
I agree they should never play for us again mate, but your interpretation of gross misconduct is only your own interpretation, not the laws.

02 Nov 2020 17:16:28
Anyway mate, we could debate this all night and not get anywhere. If Gerrard wants rid of them, and the club agree, then rest assured they will have their legal team going over every legal obligation to see If there is anything they can use to get them out.

02 Nov 2020 18:36:11
It is my interpretation mate, but I would be going for it BMG. You are right mate the club would have to make sure what they were doing was legal. I think if this route is available to the club they should do it. Make an example of them and the standards within our club. 👍.

02 Nov 2020 18:58:38
Coldo, I agree mate, I'm one who wants them sacked. As regards the Legal Route, why would it not be Gross Misconduct, they have breached the Clubs discipline rules on C.V., and, as has been mentioned, what if they had come into training before this all came out, it could've cost us £ Millions in European Revenue. The seriousness of this can't be brushed under the carpet.

02 Nov 2020 19:03:49
I agree mate, but proving there was any intent of not informing the club of their breach and thus placing the team in any danger is going to be very difficult. It would have been easier to sack them If the police hadn't caught them and then subsequently they turned up for training without coming clean only for the club to find out after the event of their breach. There would have been a much stronger case for gross misconduct then.

02 Nov 2020 19:49:26
That's exactly it BMG, proving that will be hard. We both know they wouldn't have said a word. That's what angers me. We could have been thrown out of europe for not being able to fulfil fixtures because we would be isolating, same with the league, our momentum gone. I'd be going for them both barrels. 👍.

02 Nov 2020 20:32:39
I know it mate, you know it, everyone concerned knows it, and even those in denial know it deep down. How can anyone back these clowns?

02 Nov 2020 21:44:00
Look at how well we are doing just now. The two clowns could have easily ruined it. I don't see anyway back for them. 👍.

02 Nov 2020 22:55:29
Guilty until proven innocent eh?

02 Nov 2020 23:25:19
They were fined by the cops DK so yes they are guilty. They weren't in their own house were they? No. So they are guilty. Astonished that people would try and defend them. 👍.

03 Nov 2020 12:42:22
To be fair stuck, i would assume that the majority of people have breached the rules at some point. They do also have extra rules that we don't. Most employees would not lose their job for a socialising breach. They have been stupid, should be fined, out first team for a while, sold in Jan if possible but so much over the top reaction.

03 Nov 2020 12:44:07
Coldo I’m with u. Would u be happy cheering them on at ibrox.
They could have cost us everything.

03 Nov 2020 13:17:20
Blue would do. What if it was Morelos.

03 Nov 2020 13:18:26
Irvger we don’t know they breached the clubs C.V. rules, have u read them.
