Can I just add to the post above
It’s crazy listening to them all talk about the sports scientists at clubs and the programmes they have to follow now
To be honest never knew this sort of thing was going on behind the scenes as much as it is and how they can interfere with players getting game time

Si ferrys interviews in general are very good. Even the early one on one. Durrant, fergie, McCall etc. All brilliant. Doing very well for himsef now that his football he went to lower leagues probably still getting a good wage so fair play.

Definitely Stig. But they are highly tuned athletes compared to the past where everything they do is now monitored on and off the pitch ( nutrition and fitness wise ) .

I was laughing at that the other night when they were on about the science and the science says the player is dehydrated and fergie says gee him a bottle of water and get on with it. It's amazing how things are these days if the science isn't in your favour then you don't get to play.

There's hundreds of them stig, lots of the older ones are good with ex players, managers getting interviewed. Richard gough was saying when scotland played Sweden in the world Cup the sweedish media found out he was born in Stockholm so they get him on live Swedish TV for an interview and the woman starts talking to him in Swedish and he didn't have a clue what she was saying because he was only born there and didn't speak Swedish sitting there with a blank look on his face getting broadcast to millions that would have been good to see.

Get tuned in mate. There should be one out tonight. Every Thursday they do a match prediction for the weekend with Derek Ferguson and Frank McAvennie. I absolutely love open goal. Tremendous young man!
