Regarding Morelos and his new Role --he plays deeper and wider at times and leaves spaces all over the place for others to capitalise I actually like it and feel that's his way forward as a player his technical ability is questionable inside the 6 yard box imo But he still has to hit that onion bag more often now that would make him the complete player Slap Slap Tsk Tsk--.

It leaves us short of a striker though, I have always agreed his actual football technique is poor, but he was always there, remember if big Connor hadn’t scored on Saturday nobody else did, and Rangers didn’t have a box player there.

Interesting views, anyone see sky today re Kane and his deep roll to let two wingers pull back three apart . They say it’s how u combat a back three / five.

It is John, I’ve known many coaches who use that rule regularly, including a former rangers coach who was pivotal in bringing through the two Ferguson brothers, and his favourite Charlie Miller, but you need the players for that,
Rangers have a couple who are capable all right, but Kane is world class who now has Bale and Song, a dream team.

Tom totally agree re your assertion off spurs three. It was really the principle of how the team set u, we r trying similar but certainly not with same quality of player.

Agreed, that's the problem faced by Gerrard with the low block, use your striker to pull the defenders out of shape and let our attacking mids in. Having another striker in front of Morelos won't work as the defenders would then focus more on him and not Morelos.
