Delighted with performance today. Also looking at the bigger picture we have 5/ 6 players that will have great sell on down the line. Aribo, katic, borna, kent, hagi, kamara, roofe, itten and finally alfredo. I'd happy say down the line we will get great money in from them and then get the next batch in.
If you look at previous players we were getting nothing value wise. Gerrard has built a team that can be sold for millions down the line. Football is a business at the end of the day.
I know trophies have not happened under Gerrard YET but he had a lot of work to do to built the squad let alone get us winning and playing well.
I feel the club as a whole is getting better and the Europe money keeps coming in.
Enjoy the victory in battle but the war has just started.

Aribo will likely take his place, we have Hagi and Roofe. Don’t think we’ll see barker again for a while.

Did not see much of Barker on ball but a major part of his role today was to prevent their new left back from taking up advance wide positions. Certainly worked in first half.

The worst player in the team today was the striker (as per usual) . Awful positional sense and composure. Total passenger unfortunately, rest of the team were outstanding. Should really have been sold, left with a disinterested player.

Bankie during the game I also thought Barker did he haw but also watched the highlights on that sh*t channel and when you actually seen the breakdown of play the front three did very very well hence the top three passers of celtic were their defence.
On another note can someone actually swap Michael Stewart as very very rarely does he have anything positive to say about our great institution 💙.

Thought every player played there part today but Kamara for me was MOTM. There was a pass he made in the second half that took three of there players out of the game. Surely now this guy will be appreciated for what he is a class act.

Kamara was sensational today. First name on the teamsheet for me. Also I was glad to see Ryan Jack come on and shore up the midfield, hardly giving them a sniff. Great team performance.

I think we see on TV certain aspects of the game but once highlights are showed we see the true reflection of players. Not being able to be at the game and comment is massive just now and even though I’m not his biggest fan the highlights breakdown the intricacy of the game.

Actually thought Morelos was good today, his link up play was great and was involved in the second goal. Insider info he didn’t really have any service today, I thought he did well to get involved in the game.
Agree thought that he isn’t as good as he was last year when he was bullying defenders although it was good to see him get in about Duffy - hopefully he gets back to his old self now the transfer window has closed.

Agree Zikos, I thought his link up play was pretty good however after 35 mins you could see his fuse was lit and should have been taken off at half time.
In big games like these when he loses the mental battle he is a liability to the team with all the silly fouls. The slap on Brown could easily have been a red, there was also a high foot left in on Duffy not long into the 2nd half, just a matter of time before he gets a silly red and suspended again.
He knows his role has changed this season so I don't understand his frustrations on the park when he is linking up play well and running the channels. Starting to think we should have sold him when we had the chance but there is a bit of me still thinking he has a role to play.
